Love this jacket. I'm 6' 2", 165 lbs, so I ordered the Medium Tall. Fits very nicely. Bonus: it's long enough to cover my hips. I was somewhat concerned whether this jacket would be warm enough, as it's very lightweight, but I've been toasty in weather ranging from 25 to 50. Best feature: the chest zipped pocket, very handy for stashing a mask. Concerned about: the elastic in the wrist cuffs seems lightweight. I hope it holds up.

Warm and comfy indeed. I had another of these, but the zipper lost it's grip. This one I'll tend to more carefully, and wear it over light layers only.

Jacket is warm and comfortable. I'm 5'7" and 145 pounds - the small was the right size for me.

Super light weight, great construction - easy to fold and pack = provides great warmth and wind resistance - have wanted a coat like this for a very long time
Wonderful deal and great price

Just the right weight to walk the dog on a frosty morning with just a t shirt underneath. Packs down to nothing so I can cram it it into my bag for just-in-case and has sturdy zipper so it will outlast the previous iteration. Fabulous!
I am 6'3" and 180 lb the LT leaves room for a thin fleece MT was too snug

I bought my first 850 ultralight in the fall of 2015. After countless washings it still looks great. Well worth the money. So I bought another at the Salem, NH outlet earlier this month.

This jacket feels like a breath of air, and it's a wonderful breath of toasty warm air on a chilly day. Perfect for layering.

It's a beautiful jacket, The arm length and overall length is generous and that's what I was looking for.
I'm 6'5'' and finding jackets that fit is difficult, this jacket fits great. I would recommend it to anyone but
especially tall people.

Excellent lightweight jacket!
Got an XL-Tall and I was thrilled that it was not too small like so many brands these days. I'm big - not fat, not out of shape, but big. This size fits great and I even have room under for a layer or two if it gets too cold out. This is meant to be a pack it up and carry it thing for when I don't want to carry a heavy jacket. Should fit the bill nicely.
Well made, looks good and arrived quickly!

I got the large tall, which is a bit long for me (at 6' 2" and with a long torso), but that's better than having it too short. Very warm, very comfortable.

This jacket is the bomb! I tried on several jackets in the LL Bean store and this one was hands down the very best fit for me. Large Tall is the size I got and I was surprised it fit so well. Typically I would get an XL in order to have plenty of room for sweater or sweatshirt underneath if desired. But this size was perfect even with a sweatshirt on below it. So lightweight you barely notice it but the way it blocks out the cold is amazing. This may be my very favorite winter jacket I have ever purchased. Thanks LL Bean!

I bought this the evening before I was supposed to photograph snowy owls on the shores of New Jersey. The forecast was for low 20's with 30mph winds on a flat beach. I was very concerned that this light weight skinny jacket wouldn't hold up to its rating. I was wrong. Despite the bitterly cold wind and extensive hike this jacket kept me very comfortable and was light enough that I could move freely with my camera equipment. It didn't tear and damage when I was laying flat for low angles and the sand just wiped right off.

This is actually my second. I have one that is one size smaller and purchased this one to go over bulky sweaters or other layers. It's comfy. Looks great on. And the tall really works well. This is a great everyday jacket. My only concern with these jackets is that they're not the most durable. Keep that in mind and you will be cozy and warm, and look great doing it!

Just what I wanted a layer to wear under my field jacket. Prefer coats that just cover over my butt. So made it a combo. Not bulky at all can even fold up and stash it in truck somewhere -:)

I bought one of these a few years ago when it first came out, and it was pretty good although the sizing was a bit off (I bought it in the Freeport store, so the label size didn't matter). It was time for a second one, which I ordered on-line. I take a large in L.L. Bean shirts, and the extra-large is a perfect fit with room for a fleece underneath. This newer version is a BIG improvement over the first edition: comfy and great insulation. Very pleased with this purchase,

I work in Rockland and often have to walk to different businesses throughout the day for my job. This jacket is so perfect because it's super light weight and warm and isn't a hassle in the car or when I'm walking. I got the size large to accommodate the fact that I generally wear a fleece under my winter coat or a sweater so I wanted the extra room it fits perfectly with and without my fleece on underneath and is equally as warm in both scenarios.

Purchased a similar jacket years ago from LL Bean and LOVE it! Purchased this one as a Christmas gift for my 22 year old son - he took one look and said no way!? (He thought it was too trendy). The jacket was set aside for a bit when my Father said whose is this? HE put it on and didnt take it off for the rest of the day! He's a 75-year old man, fairly "sporty" and thought it was great! So - my original gift was a hit - just not for the original recipient :) Jacket is very warm even though it is light weight - color/pattern are very cool! Would absolutely buy again!

The jacket looks good, fits nicely and most importantly is warm. I have used it for walking outside in New England with temps in the 30s and winds 15 to 25 mph. It kept me comfortably warm while walking at a moderate pace for 2 to 3 miles/45 minutes to 1 hour.

Fits well! This is the third one that we have ordered in approximately 10 years. My husband wears it indoors and out during the winter months. Slips on and off easily. He is handicapped and it is easy to maneuver.
The delivery service was another story. I was told that it was shipped and delivered, however after much research, I found out that it was returned to L.L. Bean for additional postage. It took well over two months to resolve the problem, with the delivery service.

This is the second ultralight 850 sweater I've bought. I love them! They are super lightweight and comfortable but still very warm for most winter days. I have heavier jackets of course if it's really cold out. Beautiful color (I bought the blue) and I really like the design this year with the "zig-zag" stitching. Very sharp looking jacket! These will be my go to for many years to come!
