This product is really well made. I like the adjustments that can be made ie, both the hood and waist have a draw cord and the wrists have velcro strips. The material is comfortable and pliable but waterproof. It is lightweight and can be worn over a long sleeve shirt or even an additional layer. I might order a second color in case this product is ever discontinued.

This is a well made rain jacket. The fit is a little on the small side so I ordered the next size up so I can add additional layers when camping or hiking. In addition I purchased the long to get the added coverage due to spending a lot of time outdoors. The regular length would be fine if you're running errands or taking a walk. This jacket will keep you dry.

I did have one chance to wear the rain jacket recently and it worked great. It fit nicely and kept the rain out plus I like the way it looks and hangs.

Won't buy another brand or style after I bought this one! Today I took a 5 mike walk in the rain as I walk every day. This kept me dry ( even my butt). The inside was cool to touch my hand to, BUT not wet! I would rather walk in the rain with this, than carry an umbrella. Keeps the heat in too!

This was exactly the jacket I was looking for when I found it at L.L. Bean. It is light weight and perfect for summer use and is roomy enough to wear over sweaters for fall and early spring use.

I just bought this jacket in black to replace a 15-yr old LLBean 'GoreTex' jacket very similar which I seem to have just misplaced somewhere. I like Bean because many men's jackets are too short for my arms and torso, even if they fit my chest and shoulders properly. LL Bean has the 'Tall' option, which allows me to buy the correct fit. The new replacement is technically not GoreTex, it's Bean's own proprietary version of it. It's built the same, with breathable vents everywhere, a good snorkel hood, barrel-cinching elastic closures to tighten it up against wind and water, and both zipper and Velcro closures in front, nice long sleeves, and a sharp cut to it, giving a nice modern look. I live in southwest FL where it rains buckets every day in summer, but you don't want anything hot on you. It's got to be waterproof and breathe. This is it. When my older one reappears around the house, hey, I'll have two.

This rain jacket is exactly as described. It breathes & keeps you dry & comfortable. Highly recommend

This was exactly what I have come to expect from llbean and was not at all disappointed. My husband is tall not wide, so it was nice to have the tall option. Great gold color - he gets lots of compliments. Finally, just the right size and number of pockets. I have one too, and they are good for rainy days. Thank you

I purchased this for my husband as a replacement for his "walking in the rain" jacket. He likes the fabric, fit and the positioning of the pockets.

Lightweight. The liner is very soft and it kept the rain off me. It was what I wanted in a rain jacket.

Fits well, is comfortable, repels the rain. It seems a little pricey for how lightweight it is but over all I'm happy. Would purchase again.

Good quality jacket.

I always shop and compare prior to ordering and most times come back to LL Bean. Great customer service and good quality. Haven't had any rain in the last month and haven't needed the jacket. But I'm ready for it. Despite the quality being good, I wish that LL Bean had sourced this jacket from a manufacturer in the USA!! However, still a great purchase!

The sleeves and body of this jacket fit wonderfully on a 6'3", slim man. He loves it.

I have the North Col gortex pro jkt which is amazing but wanted something light, breathable and packable. This jacket covers all three needs. Very happy with my purchase.

Does an excellent job of keeping the rain out and you dry. My only issue is that the zipper tends to catch in the flap toward my chest.

I bought this for my husband for Father's Day. He usually wears a MT but this particular color (an army green) was on sale and they didn't have his size so I bought the LT. It's great. It's not lined so he can wear a sweater or heavy shirt under it. It is nice quality. I would have gotten a different color but the color I would have bought was not on sale.

I bought this jacket in black for my son who, at 6'8" is hard to fit. I'm very pleased with the way the jacket looks on him. He has plenty of room and it's been perfect for the weather in Chicago right now.

The rain jacket is good. I am happy with it.

I bought this jacket for my grandson who will be starting college in Florida. Since it rains almost everyday in Florida in the summer (pop up showers or storms), I told him he can fold this jacket up to fit in his backpack and have it when needed. He likes it very much and it looks good on him.
