This coat fits true to size. Bought for next season, but it got cold enough to try it out last week. Very warm and comfortable. Happy with this purchase.

I wear a small and this parka fits well (I'm 5'7" and weigh 127). I appreciate that it is longer than most parkas and that the hood is detachable. After two wearings I expect it will keep me warm when winter returns.

The Mountain Classic Down Parka Men's coat was a Christmas present to my husband. Since his cancer, he can't tolerate the cold and this coat is warm and light to wear. It also has a nice style to it.

Great look, great fit, lightweight and very warm. Would recommend this coat to anyone.

Have always loved Beans down outerwear. This does not disappoint. My last bean coat is over 8 years old and still going strong. Just needed something a little longer with a hood. This fit the bill. The softness of the nylon is even better than the older coat. Can't recommend Bean and this coat enough. Love it.

I bought this for a single purpose, to walk my dog in the early hours, but I've begun wearing it for all purposes. It's light and slips on very easily. Its been single digits cold in the northeast this year and this provides good coverage and warmth. The only issue is the pockets which have very little vertical depth, so I worry about losing keys and wallet. Washes and dries very well. All buttons, pull strings and zippers are high quality. You are not going to win a fashion contest here - but it's my favorite coat and I wear it everyday.

A lifesaver! I bought this coat for my husband to wear for attending outdoor football games, but it also saved his life (at least I think so!) He went out to walk our dog and slipped in the driveway, landing on his back and hitting his head. I think the thick padding of the coat, (particularly the hood), probably prevented a more serious injury. So it's now his favorite coat - mine too - thanks, LL Bean!

Excellent warmth without bulk or restriction of movement. The construction and finish is very good and the hood is comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

My husband is very happy with this coat. It is very warm and surprisingly very lightweight. It has a great inside pocket for cell phone etc. and deep outside pockets for heavy gloves. The hood is sized well to cover but not obscure vision.

Super soft and very comfortable. Fits great and kept me very warm in 25* wind chill. Appears to be made of top quality material but only time will tell. For now though, with the fit, color, comfort and price, I most certainly would buy this item again should the need ever arise.

We purchased 2 of these coats as we travel to the east coast often. As advertised they are warm ( temperature was-5) while wearing, comfortable hood was great and great quality.

This coat is lite weight, not bulky, but extremely warm for moderate to blustery days.

This coat is light warm and comfortable...all the things I expect in a winter coat. We have been having single digit to teen temps (F) over the last couple weeks and I walk three miles each morning. Am so glad I got it this winter. Very good looking as well. I like that it is light, unlike many parkas that seem to weigh you down. Very pleased with this Parka. I'm 5'7" and weigh 70kg. parka is a medium. Live in eastern Nebraska.

My husband got this as a Christmas gift from me. He says it's the warmest coat he has ever had. He loves it!

This is a Xmas gift for my son. He likes it. Warm and fluffy. Simple black sleek design also fits the Manhattan style. Overall a very good quality down parker for the daily commuting into the city by public transportation. My son normally wears Regular large, but we exchanged it into Tall large after trying it out in the store. The Tall large provides longer sleeves and longer torso which accommodates the city walking better.

I've always said L.L. Bean winter jackets though this is the first down jacket I have purchased and I absolutely love it. It is so warm.

The Parka arrived on the exact date the company stated it would. It has a perfect fit for my husband . He has worn it several times and loves the fabric and the length.
