My son is 5'4" and 80lbs and the small is a tad long and very roomy. Perfect for a growing boy and an extra layer (although it's warm enough without it).

My husband was surprised how warm this coat is given that it's so light. Plus it looks very good - no more bulk and weight!

My son likes his coat so much he barely takes it off. In the Midwest a warm coat like this is a must. Looks great, too.

I bought this coat as a Christmas gift for my son. When he opened it he loved it right away and tried it on he loved it fit perfectly and he was glad it has a hood and it's so warm. He was very pleased it was a LL bean coat also.

Great quality! Warm. Large Tall perfect fit for 6 ft 3 inches tall, 190 lbs. My husband loves it and looks so nice on. Bought as gift for outdoor dining but he wears it all the time!

Bought this for my move to Palmer, Alaska. Holds up well to about -10--good to have layers on underneath it.

fits well, very warm, not too heavy, timely delivery

It is warm and not too heavy in weight. I know some people like the zipper because it comes up from the bottom but it is cumbersome but overall I am quite happy with the jacket .

The Mountain Down Parker performs exactly as described. It is very warm, comfortable and great looking. We reside in CA, and spent Christmas 2021 in Vermont. During our visit, we spent sometime at the Killington Ski Resort. It was quite cold that day, any my new Parka performed beautifully. The double zipper and button closure is a very smart feature that keeps the cold outside, while the inside stays toasty warm.

Very warm even in below zero weather with - 30 Degree Below Zero wind chill. True to size fit yet still allows layering if needed.

I was holding off on reviewing this coat until I got some sufficiently cold weather to test it. The other morning it was 15 degrees outside and this coat kept me perfectly warm! I love how light and comfortable it is. My old coat was heavy and bulky and didn't keep me close to as warm as this coat. The added length really helps. And the zip-up from the bottom is helpful when sitting (especially driving). I like the fit as well - fairly trim fit but still has room for layering underneath. The zipper can be a little tricky to pull all the way up once you get to the base of the collar, but it's no big deal. I wore it in light precipitation and it was plenty water-resistant for that. But I haven't used in in significantly wet conditions so I can't really comment on how well it will work when it really gets wet out. Honestly, I try to avoid wet conditions whenever possible anyway :^) All in all a great coat and I'm glad I purchased!

My husband is delighted with this parka. It is well made, quality fabric, lightweight, keeps him warm, easy to take on and off, water repellant.

Wonderful high quality product for a recent trip to Northern Minnesota. The coat did very well in keeping me warm in temps of -30 degrees. The coat was easy to pack and maintain. The attached hood was a added benefit in dealing with gale force winds. Very high quality construction. Thank you LL Bean!

Super warm on the coldest day. Comfortable, not boxy like many parkas I had before. Love the shade of blue. Love the hood on a rainy or snowy day. Highly recommend.

Fits great, glad I followed the website sizing guide! This has been the most comfortable and warm coat I have had in a long time! It also breathes just enough when open, that I can use it on a 50 degree day without pouring sweat.
