While fits ok, disappointed in fabric and fact that threre is no upper zip pocket as in other vests I have purchased. My fault, should have looked at the picture better. No inside pocket(s) as well.

Fabric thinner than LL fleeces used to be. Unflattering, to put it mildly. Binding feels scratchy and likely to disintegrate within a few washings, even if line dried. Returning so many items, we're including a few small local-flavour care/apology items (chocolate, hot sauce, and herbal tea) for the poor LLBean employee who has to unpack and process.

Not a fan of the must-be-sporty look - nor of the prominent garish advertising labels that seem to be in vogue. No, no and no! And I found it to be on the slim side

I am disappointed that the chest pocket was removed from this design. I bought another company's vest.

the vest that it replaced. Two BIG "downsides": no zippered breast pocket on the front left that was great for carrying a cellphone, a pen, car keys, etc.; and, no inside pockets (one on each side) both of which were handy for miscellaneous items. In short, this vest has only two usable pockets as opposed to the previous model that had FIVE, a big difference. This vest is fine for wearing around the house but not one I'd recommend for travel. Simply not practical enough.

My expectations for this vest were not high- I wanted a black vest, I already have grey and blue in other models and this one seemed to fit the bill- I was wrong. The quality of the fleece is thin and cheap feeling. Very similar to a promotional item your company gives you on the cheap. This is very subjective to me- but the quality was not there, and the lack of chest pocket totally kills it for me.

Was perfect for my phone. Super convenient. Gone. Some long time customers do notice these things and we're not pleased!

It was time to replace my 2001 LL Bean Fleece Vest when paint got on it. It was great for layering during Maine winters and really warm. The Fleece vest we just purchased is thin, the material has already started piling after just 3 uses. Big disappointment. I have gone back to my paint splattered 2001 vest which is of infinitely better quality.

I love LL Bean. I have been buying their products for 45 years. They do not know what the color Black means. They do not know what the color Navy Blue means. I still luv ya though.

This is a gift so I don't have measurements or fit. What disappointed me is the quality of the item. When it arrived, I discovered a vest that was chintzy, cheap feeling materials that were not up to my expectations for an L.L. Bean product. I seriously considered returning this but I will let the recipient make that decision. Hopefully if he choose a refund, he will be able to receive it in full.

Color on picture wasn't accurate. Disappointed. I will have to return it.

I can't say for sure but the vest just did not feel new. I believe it was washed but of course, I can't say that with certainty. Not blaming you but I thought you should know my thoughts about this purchase.

I want to replace an old fleece vest from Bean that my husband had (actually he's had several Bean vests over the years, but the zipper on his favoarite one died, and the new zip I put in has also died). But he won't want this with the prominent advertising logo (I wouldn't either), sigh. Why do you insist on doing this? I've also not bought other products I used to buy due to this. I'm certainly not the only one who detests this practice.

I tried to buy this vest. It was listed as in stock on the website. I purchased it and my receipt said delivery was estimated for 11/10/23. I didn't receive any shipment details after a few days so I check the order status on Nov 10th and it says "WHSE OUT". I contact customer service and they say it was already out of stock when I purchased but they're still selling them online as available. Even as I was speaking to customer service I could still purchase the "out of stock". I purchased it with a gift card that was from another return but the cost of the vest can not be credited back to that gift card. Customer service says I'll either get another gift card or a check in the mail. I'm now hesitant to buy anything. especially winter items since it's that time of year.

poor quality control. Undersized my 4th attempt . Gone to competitor.

I love LL Bean, I'm a Mainer and will always support this business. That being said, I was disappointed in this product. I initially loved it. Perfect size for me and it was cozy. I wore it a couple times and then washed it. I always wash on delicates with cold and then dry with a low heat setting. The third wear I had it on at work (not doing any strenuous physical activity) and just by walking around the bungee cord that cinches the bottom of the vest popped out. I had to have the vest taken to a tailor for repair. I'm convinced that the batch vests is likely defective because I have never had this happen with an LL Bean product. I wanted to return it, but I live out of state now and so the return process is cumbersome for me. Would iterate for LL Bean to not sacrifice the quality of their clothing for savings money through cheap manufacturing. Please, raise your standards back up to match your prices because you are better than this.

I just didn't like it. Wide bottom and orange like zipper things didn't look good

I ordered two and only got 1. They are much cheaper in quality then the one I have for over 10 years! What is happening to LL Bean? I will not buy anymore stuff from Bean and it breaks my heart after 58 years!

Terrible customer service. Certainly not what it used to be.

The fit, color, style, and size of this item is great, The main problem is that after wearing it less than a week (to /from work in a car only), the entire back panel of fabric has pilled and frayed. Unfortunately since it has been worn it is not returnable but is now only fit to wear in the garden.

Too small as a large tall in everything bean, this was way to small for my chest.

Colour on website is stated as black. Product thatvarrived is olive green where only the zipper is black

Medium is not a classic fit. I am slender 165lb and the slight taper in body identified makes it to small and uncomfortably tight through body. What happened to your original cut I have several and the fit perfect.

The fleece continues to shed little pill-like clumps after a thorough "depiling" with a garment sticky. If it continues to do this much more I will return it for a refund and never buy fleece anything from LLBean again. Very disappointed after years of good products. My father introduced me to LLBean over 70 years ago.

The reason I'm giving this product 1 star is because the color of the actual vest is a completely different color than what is showing in the online picture. It is more of a dark charcoal or grey color which is nice but not what I wanted. I'm unsure why the vest is advertised as all black.. but if you want an all black vest and not a charcoal colored vest, I would not recommend this product.
