Great looking, warm, extremely lightweight jacket. Tailored to fit, unlike a lot of puffers that are boxy and bulky. Beats the pricier competitors for quality, look and value.

This jacket continues to surprise me! I wasn't sure if it would be warm enough (it is) or comfortable enought (it is) to work for autumn in the Snow Belt - winter's around the corner and I can't wait to see what this jacket can do. So far it's been perfect. It fits beautifully, and really is super light but does a great job with creating a nice windproof (and rainproof so far - though I've yet to wear it any really strong rains beyond a heavy drizzle) layer that I can comfortably wear under another jacket. The pockets are large enough to hold the necessaries, and the chest pocket is a great size for holding my readers and some lens cleaners - and it's very conveniently placed, too. I bought the navy blue with the orange lining and the combination provides some nice little pops of color to add some flair.

I bought this jacket for my husband, to replace his current jacket that is falling apart. The fit is perfect for him and he liked the color, too. He always buys a black jacket and I bought him the sapphire blue. He's quite pleased.

Nice and warm. Lightweight too! Fold up and becomes very compact. Bought it for a trip to Alaska in August, and it was perfect. I'm female but got a men's to allow plenty of room for layers - worked beautifully for that.

Rolled up into a corner of my backpack. Or warmed me up on a cold Alaska day. The perfect travel jacket.

Perfect travel jacket. Packs compactly, comfortable and can dress up or down. Fit is nice for someone with broader shoulders. Love the chest pocket.

I bought this jacket for my husband for Christmas because he'd been using the same (not very warm!) coat for years. I have the women's version of this jacket and love it. He now realizes why I praise this coat so much! Thanks L.L. Bean!

This will be the perfect jacket to use while traveling. Its lightweight yet warm while wearing, and best of all, its folds right into a pocket for easy storage/packability.

Very nice. The new LL Bean sizing . . . "Slightly Fitted" . . . Had to go up a size. Fits very well. Nice material.

Build quality and design is good. Not too boxy and the quilts are reasonably overlapped. Time will tell how the zippers hold up but I am dropping another brand's down jacket from my rotation in favor of the LL Bean synthetic. This seems to be the best value on a performance insulation layer I have found so far. No complaints except that I wish it had the stitched LLBean logo rather than the printed one.

I am quite happy with my foldaway primaloft jacket. It performs as expected, warm enough for most days except the very coldest. Certainly good enough for a light rain and folds away easily.

I have the 10-year old version of this jacket. Different baffling, but same basic Primaloft-based idea. Perfect for the DC/N Virginia area for Fall and Spring on it's own. It, under a basic uninsulated shell like a Marmot Precip with pit zips, and it covers Winter, unless it gets down to zero or so in a cold snap, and then I go with a true winter parka. Hiking on VA AT, Kesugi Ridge (Denali), and the Beartooth/Rosebud Trail (MT) with the Precip with pits zipped, unzipped, swap out jacket and this mid-layer and was all I needed in some very cold, very windy days, that could swing warm in the sun. Granted those were active days. This layer is just a proven winner. Once you dial in the fit (I'm 6' 200lbs and the XL fits comfortably, but I like jackets loose so I can move freely), and it should serve you well. I have the black, and it fits in well in a corporate casual (dress shirt and slacks) environment to get to and from the car. All in all, after a decade of use, it's still going strong, and one of my wiser purchases.

This jacket is excellent for moderate temperatures. The external vest pocket accommodates phones and the zippered side pockets protect against losses. Grey color very contemporary.

I bought this for a midweight packable jacket, and am more than happy. So far it has handled wind, rain and cold. Very thin and lightweight, but warm with only a t-shirt in the mid 30's.
