Light, warm, easily foldable, very small and comfortable with lots of pockets to make it a very good travel companion.

I bought this for recent trip to Europe. Packs well. Works well with short sleeve shirt in low 60s or upper 50s. Wore on plane as well.

Wore this jacket while climbing Mt. Etna. Around 45 degrees and cooler at the top. Misty and light rain. I stayed dry. Warmed up in the afternoon and the jacket performed well. Easy to pack.

The Primaloft Packaway is a very nice jacket. I got it for times when down may not be appropriate. It is warm, light and compresses nicely. I use it for sailing. I have the Primaloft vest as well and didn't like it so much for skiing due to less breathability. Great insulation layer for wet conditions.

This jacket checks all the boxes for great fall/winter outerwear. Ridiculously lightweight, packable (wish they included a pack bag) yet more than warm enough for cool fall evenings or bright winter days. It probably won't be enough warmth for 30 degrees days, unless you e got layers underneath it. But for everything else, it's a winner.

This jacket is a must for travelers, backpackers, and day-hikers. Feather-light with PrimaLoft insulation and nylon outer shell, it's the perfect layering jacket. Folds and packs away easily in a day pack and can be worn if the temps drop or stowed away if conditions change. A real winner!

This is a nice lightweight Puffy Jacket the is just right when a heavier Puffy is just too much.

I usually wear an LL Bean shirt that is a Large Regular, This jacket size that fit perfectly was a X-Large Tall. It took two returns to get it right, but it was worth it!

Surprisingly warm for the weight. I have another LLB puffer I wear from a 2 piece parka (7-8 years old) that is probably twice the thickness and keeps me about as warm. I was happy to see an internal and external chest pocket on the jacket. Both can easily fits most mobile phones. The jacket packs into the larger internal pocket. I haven't packed it yet so I can't speak to that. Sheds water fairly well. But looking forward to trying it out while camping. This is personal preference, but I am not a fan of the thin elastic "hair tie" style cuffs. Some button down and sweatshirts I own have wrist cuffs that peek out. Looks a little silly. That's my biggest complaint so I feel pretty lucky.

Great Coat/Sweater. Great part is you don't have to take is off every time you walk inside for 30 minutes, yet keeps you warm outside!! Highly recommended

While the quality is what I expect from LLbean, the jacket is rated as 'warmer'. When the jacket arrived in an envelope I knew I was in trouble. I live in snow country where 10 and 20 below zero is not uncommon. It was 28 degrees when it arrived I put it on and was shivering within 10 minutes. I went home and packed it back up and returned it for a much warmer LLbean jacket that I am satisfied with. The original primaloft jacket is probably fine for spring and fall but certainly not winter unless you spend winter in Florida.

I wore this as a mid layer while skiing in -15 Fahrenheit conditions. It helped keep me warm but was not bulky and did not constrict my movement. Love this!

I love this jacket. It is exactly what I was looking for in a not puffy jacket that will work down into the low 30's. At the bottom of the range, I'll have layers on. Just a t shirt won't cut it. The size for XL Tall does run small in the chest, so I had to bump up to an XXL Tall. When looking at the sizing guide, and comparing to another outdoor apparel company I've used, the XL Tall should have been a tad bigger. I love love love this jacket.

Purchased this oversized because last one I ordered was skin tight and no way fit a large man. Now can use a layered jacket over sweatshirt and has been perfect for temps in the 28-40 range....but if we have wind chill it isn't as warm - but what is? :) Extremely light and I love that feature. Will be an awesome spring and fall jacket!
