A couple of afternoons ago I went for a walk in my Northwest Ohio neighborhood. I do about 3.4 miles in a little over an hour. I had on my PrimaLoft Crosscore Packaway Jacket, a neck gaiter, gloves with liners and a pair of ski goggles. The temperature was 27, with a feels like temp of something like 14 and 15 MPH sustained winds and gusts that felt like they had to be at least 25 MPH. I was comfortable. I continue to be amazed at how warm this jacket can be while being so thin and light weight. The PrimaLoft Crosscore tech is amazing. The jacket is very well made. I've tried it as in inner layer in my "windproof fleece" jacket and it's so thin there are no issues with bulk. So if I ever find the Packaway Jacket isn't warm enough I can layer up. But I expect that to be very rarely.

It's perfect but the orange trim is a bit much. Sizing is good.

It is a very nice looking jacket; it slims and looks sharp!

The jacket is light weight and comfortable. The fit is good and the jacket is warm. The jacket is a good wind breaker. I would recommend the jacket.

Awesome. Lightweight. Warm. My favorite go-to jacket. Three season jacket and part of layer to make it all season. Highly recommended. Buying another in a different color.

Nice jacket for 40's to 50's and with a layer underneath possibly the 30's also. It is very lightweight but warm. I normally take a large in LLBean shirts and jackets but had to size up to an XL in this one. I originally got a large but was too tight in the shoulder, chest and armpit area. So you might want to consider going up a size.

In Arizona we experience wide temperature swings, and this is the perfect jacket. Plenty warm when I leave the house in upper 30-40s, and comfortably light and not overly warm into the 70s later in the day. Packs small and easily stuffed into my bag if needed. For those same reasons it has worked well when traveling. I have not used it for strenuously exercising, as I expect it might not function as well if soaked with sweat, but anything shy of profuse sweating would probably be ok. For the extreme workouts, I prefer something that allows moisture to escape (fleece, zip pits, etc). Overall, this jacket is my general go-to. Highly recommended. And literally the same jacket sold by the "P" company, but for less money. Apparently their tag costs more to make . Excellent jacket, and meets the quality I've known of LLBean as a multi-decade customer.

Wonderful jacket. Took on trip to Switzerland last month where temperatures were between the thirties and fifties. Even up in the alps and in chilly caves I was warm as toast. Packaway feature was great when traveling on plane and fitting into my back pack. I did have to exchange my size large for an extra large due to tightness through the midriff. I'm 5'9" 170lbs. Have never had to buy an extra large in any other product from LL Bean.

This was best coat I could bought for its intended purpose. I bought it to wear on my morning bicycle commute in 40-degree temperatures. With a light shell underneath, it keeps my torso completely warm and packs away nicely for the ride home when the weather is warmer.

Needed a extra layer to add warmth, and a good space saver when traveling only carry on. This appears to be that jacket, although too soon to tell.

I'm normally a Large regular but when I got the jacket it was way tight like a medium so I exchanged for an extra large. That process was quick and efficient from Bean. Well constructed all over, extremely attractive and looks expensive. So light making a perfect travel jacket for overseas. Looking forward to cold weather to test it's warmth as it's still hot in the Bluegrass.

Best jacket ever. Incredibly thin and warm. I can use it as a winter coat until it gets below 25. Will fold or roll down to almost nothing and easy to pack.

Nice looking, and very packable. I didn't keep it because I ended up with another, so I can't speak to it's warmth or durability unfortunately, but it was what I wanted at the time, I just got another brand quicker which also fit my needs.

Purchased for my nephew who is spending his next semester on a foreign country. He is an outdoors person anyway, and tends to live out of his backpack when not at home. Lightweight, warm and extremely easy to pack, it's the perfect jacket for him.
