Warm but not bulky. Good cuffs, neck has a breeze block, adjustable waist- perfect. I had one of these years ago, then got another parka, but now back to this great coat. Don't ever stop making it

I learned something buying this jacket, if you live in Maine you want a Bean jacket rated "warmest " to wear. The jacket is light weight and very toasty. I own three bean winter jackets, a "warmer 3 in 1", a bean down parka and this jacket. The difference with this jacket over the down version is I can wear this when it is warmer without it being too hot. The down jacket definitely requires cold.

Purchased for our son who is attending SUNY Oswego. He said it keeps the 35mph winds and bone chilling cold off of lake Ontario at bay.

This is the second Ridge Parker I bought for my husband for the winter. The other one is in perfect condition. I have 3 myself all in perfect condition. They are very warm, big enough to layer a sweater underneath, and they are easy to wash. Our best winter coats! I highly recommend them.

Really great coat. Not the fitted type, it has good room for adding a layer or two. Also it feels very durable and the materials are comfortable and excellent quality. I am not tall at all, but even though it's a longer parka it looks very nice - but not dressy. I am a man, 5'8" 157lb with an athletic build

Well made with attention to details. For example, adjustable cuffs, with additional interior cuffs to prevent cold going up the sleeves.LOVE the fact I can REMOVE THE HOOD !!!! Makes the jacket look better and feel better....its something I do not need in NJ. Overall very pleased.

I bought this parka for my husband to replace a bulky old one. XXL fits great. It is lighter weight, no bulk and very very warm. The back is designed with a conture to cover his rear and not get wet. Lots of pockets too. The perfect parka.

I live in the Pocono Mountains and needed a warm coat. This one fits that perfectly. I was out walking in twenty four degrees weather and never felt cold. This is a good coat.

This is my first ever jacket order from LLB, and it is a great one. I am 6-3 200, and got the XL tall for good waist and sleeve length and to have enough room for base layers. The parka fits perfectly. And I wanted something that is stylish and well constructed to wear for special occasions. Got it.

Excellent fit! It took me a while to find a good fitting jacket that didn't use down feathers.

This is a very versatile parka. Great with just a T-shirt in probably down to 30. With some layering and a hat, you are good to go in pretty cold temperatures.
Looks great. I would prefer a classic navy blue color but when you get this in your hands, it's actually a nicer blue than in the photos.
Ample interior pockets for storage.
Very rainproof.
Could have better quality zipper but definitely adequate.
Nice and lightweight.
Highly recommend this parka!
Wish it came in a solid black.

I bought this Roughly 5 Years ago to get myself a new Winter Jacket fit for Minnesota cold and sport. This jacket has all the features I was looking for. Efficient Heat:Weight ratio, Tek water resistance that keeps you dry, adjustable hood and waist bungee cords make this jacket super functional and form fitting to keep you warm on the coldest days.
Anyhow, my particular jacket is in Green and are not part of this year's color scheme which is a shame because it's my favorite color. The pockets have all held up well and the fabric has but a few tears from running into abrasive metal on Year 2 but hasn't gotten any worse. It's a great ski jacket because of the pockets and holds up to knarly slides down sharp icy slopes... outer chest pocket is nice for quick items and very useful, outer hand pockets are fleece-lined. Velcro handcuffs on the sleeves still hold up pretty well with not particular attention to maintaining them, even after 5 years so it's nice to sinch up.
I bought this jacket 5 years ago at debut price of $300 dollars and I think L.L. Bean has made a strong value piece of clothing that could hold as a familiar heirloom.

I have purchased two of the coats, excellent warmth Have worn the coat down to 15 below zero. Only negative about this coat are the poor color choices.

This is a great product which I hope LL Bean keeps selling. My husband's coat has held up so well that when I ordered him a new one, to be on the safe side, we both realized the old one was fine and sent the new one back.
