This coat is just what I was looking for; warm, with an insulated hood, keeps my neck warm too.

Bought this coat to replace my previous model of the Parka. I wore that one for many years. It served me well; it was very comfortable and kept me warm. After all the years, it is still in good shape. I just wanted to upgrade. I am very happy with this new version. It is more lightweight, but still comfortable and warm. Fits well, looks good. Great for outdoor recreation and everyday use.

Bought it as a gift. He loves it. Says it is very warm and comfortable. Bought a medium and it was true to size. Excellent quality. It looks great on him.

I've seen a review that this jacket wasn't very warm. They must live in Antarctica to say that, cause this is by far the warmest winter jacket I've ever had. Extremely comfy and very warm in cold winter weather. It's a little big for size, but overall, it's a tremendous winter jacket. Great in freezing temps.

Bought this for my elderly father after he moved back North with us from Florida. He loves it. It keeps him very warm and looks amazing on him. Definitely a New England style men's coat. I highly recommend it.

Purchased the Parka to wear to the dog park on cold and windy days. It has performed above expectations. I can wear fewer layers and remain comfortable even in zero degrees F and windy conditions. The coat fits well. I do find the hood a little hard to get to fit properly but it does keep my neck and head warm.

I purchased two of these Parkas. The gray one I use going to and from the office. The second one, mustard colored, I use for my morning walks in the Boston area. I find that all I need is a T-Shirt under the Parka for my morning walk. I wish they would bring back the Mustard colored one

This is definitely not a jacket, it's a parka with the length and hood implied by that name. We've had a string of days below zero and my jackets weren't getting the job done. This parka is warmer, and it has the elastic cuffs in the arms and the waist drawstring to keep air exchange to a minimum. I'm not sure how it will work in sub-zero temps, but think it will need a couple of layers underneath, including a good fleece layer. However, layering in that kind of cold is normal. The hood does come low over the eyes, but wearing a ball cap keeps it comfortable. This will be my go-to for cold football games. Wind resistance is excellent and the number of inside and outside pockets will really help with gloves and carry-along items. Layer up and I should be good for 10 below zero.

I bought this coat for my son who is 6'8" and it is an excellent fit.

This is warmer than I expected. It is nice and well-positioned pockets.

My husband bought this to replace a similar coat he'd bought from LLBEAN at least 19 years ago that was now too big. Very nice, fairly lightweight yet quite warm. Excellent value and quality.

This parka looks good and it is well constructed. A large fits as expected, as I am 6' tall and 195 pounds. Lots of pockets for my phone, smokes, and other stuff. It seem like it will be warm, but today will be the true test. As I write this it's 13 degrees outside with 40 to 50 mph winds. Our dog will need to go out soon. I think the parka will be fine.

I replaced two older LL Bean jackets with this one and am impressed with the practical features. Ordered it a few days before the first snowstorm of the season and it arrived in time to try out in heavy wet snow and wind. This purchase was going to be from LL Bean, but out of curiosity I researched a number of competitive jackets/parkas and concluded the Rugged Ridge parka is a real value for the money.

The men's rugged ridge parka was an excellent purchase and completely met my needs. I live in northern New Jersey and it keeps me warm in weather between 20 and 40, which I think is its sweet spot. Perfectly warm, yet not overly warm. Repels rain well. I am 5'9" and 175 pounds and the medium fits me perfectly.

Love the jacket. Very warm and comfortable. LL Bean makes the best products out there and I wouldn't shop anywhere else
