Unbelievably warm and comfortable with maximum mobility

Whenever I exercise I sweat. With my old winter coat I would be soaking wet because the moisture wouldn't escape. This coat breathes well. I'm not wet or even damp when I take it off. It is also warm and not too heavy. I've always dislikes hood because when they hang they get in the way. This is the first acceptable hooded jacket I've owned.

I rated this 5 stars because it lives up to the features you said it has. Keeps me warm and dry, easy to zip, has wonderful pockets, and is very stylish. What more can you ask for.

Outstanding winter parka, especially good for those who live in or operate in cold wet climates. I live in North Carolina and the winters here are cold and wet, not cold and dry like up in New England. Because of this need for insulation that keeps me warm even if it gets wet or damp, I have long preferred either wool products or synthetic fill products like Primaloft over goose down. This coat is cut large, fits loose, I can still wear a wool jac shirt or wool sweater under it and have room to move. It's also sharp looking.

I bought this for my husband's birthday and he was delighted with the quality, fit, and warmth.

This was a replacement for a worn-out coat of another brand that served me well for over two decades. Tough shoes to fill, indeed. My requirements were simple - the replacement needed to be toasty warm in whatever nature throws at me, windproof and absolutely, positively waterproof. I got all those things and a few extras with this parka! The fit and function of the parka are spot on. Excellent pockets, great storm flap over the front zipper, and not bad looking to boot. I also really appreciate the insulated and detachable hood. I'm not personally a fan of hoods, so it's nice to be able to zip it off. The collar has a nice fleece lining that feels good against your skin. I also appreciate the two way zipper, as sitting in a coat that comes below your waist can be like a strait jacket at times. This solves the problem nicely. I highly, highly recommend it as an effective shield against nasty winter weather.

Lightweight compared to older models. Insulated hood. Ordered one size up for additional length. Stylish, lots of features. Can be adjusted inside waist and at bottom. Waterproof feature should help when shoveling snow or trail walking.

Got this jacket in 2009 when I was in the 7th grade (it was a little big on me at the time) and is still my primary winter jacket. I have worn it on countless ski trips, family outings, and cold winter nights, and love how its warm yet not too heavy nor does it restrict range of motion. If you want a dependable, light weight, cold weather jacket, then this is the jacket for you.

Warm rugged but light. Thus is the second version of this jacket I've bought. The previous one lasted about 10 years and I only gave it up because the zipper was wearing out. This jacket has improved over the last one. Warmer pockets and hood.

I read all the review concerning size and fit. Normally i would order M but decided on L. My sleeve length is 34-35. Large fits perfect. Very nice comfortable coat. Plenty warm and like the inside elastic on sleeves.

As advertised , comfy and warm, well priced. The go- to winter jacket.

Perfect Cold to Very Cold Weather Coat! Keeps Me Nice and Comfortable!

This coat is very warm. It is light and comfortable to wear. I like the insulated hood. I wore it in a 33 degree rain shower with a 22 degree wind chill. I stayed warm and dry.

All I'm allowed to say is be an outsider. So there!

Made a special trip to LLBean flagship store in Freeport, Maine specifically to try on this Parka and compare with other winter outerwear. It is a perfect fit and will serve my needs in every respect. I am glad I made the trip.

Awesome jacket that will keep you warm. Hubby loves the two way zip when riding in our vehicle. Great color options and the longer length is perfect!
