I ordered a size small, but it is a little too big. Unfortunately, there is not a smaller size. It is a nice, warm jacket.

This jacket is well made and seems to be of good quality, but the fleece on the inside of one collar is much longer than the other side and looks very odd and out of balance. The images on the site and catalog hide this - so you have to buy it to find out. I sent mine back for a refund.

Quality of jacket and pockets are good. The jacket was rolled up in plastic and paper shipping bag. and has several wrinkles and creases. I assume after wearing and hanging the wrinkles would straighten out.

LLBean needs to bring back the women's version of this fleece-lined warm-up jacket. I have an old one in pink which is great. The shape of the shoulders and available colors for that one were better. I see in the reviews other women have also bought this for themselves but it is not as good.

Fabric was too slippery and noisy to wear; nylon created a very loud sound when moving.

Sized way to small. I recommend ordering at minimum 1 size up. Material is noisy when you walk. Otherwise decent for the price.

This jacket is heavier than expected. From the item description and reviews I thought it would be more light weight. It is actually rather puffy and heavy. A fine jacket really but just not what I was looking for.

This is a nice jacket, BUT it arrived in a PERMANENTLY wrinkled condition. The replacement jacket had more wrinkles. My thought is that in Bangladesh this clothing is vacuum-packed to save transport space.

This is the second one of these jackets I've had. It just doesn't feel right / comfortable on. Almost as if it hasn't been 'cut right'. The inside pocket barely fits my cell. It's the same size as the older jacket but just doesn't feel right. The old jacket fits just fine. Even my cell feels right at home there!

Jacket is nice, but it is extremely noisy when walking. Material is very noisy as my arms are moving when walking. Unfortunate side effect from the shell. Shell does help with wind. other than noise, jacket is well made. LLBEAN is going overboard with branding. At least the branding on this coat blends into the material and does not shout LLBean. I'll gladly advertise LLBEAN branded clothing if they give it to me for $0.00. If I am paying for the piece, I'm not interested in providing free advertising.

While nicely made, the sizing is wrong. I wear another brand in 2x. I ordered this jacket in 3x and it was too small across the shoulders and chest.

Just not what was expected. Material much louder than expected. A bit lighter/less warm than expected for fleece lined version. Don't like the length of the torso, or the snug fit. Cozy enough (for a light-medium jacket). Surprisingly bulky in arms for its warmth and mobility. Maybe good for someone else, but not for me. And definitely too tailored on the fit.

Its warm enough, I like the feel of the soft fleece lining but I wish the description would have told me the product is made with a slim fit cut design, its too tight. When I save up some money I'll have to order the next larger size for myself and give this one to my son.

Over the last 20 some years I have had over 8 of these jackets. They are perfect fo fall and spring wear. The coat is well made, but it lacks an interior pocket or the cell phone pocket that most of the jackets have now. The interior pocket is very handy, especially since the only way to secure something in the side pockets is to zip them up completely. I think you cheated out.

I bought a "regular' because the specs given seemed to match measurements for sleeve etc. Instead there is easily 7 inches of surplus girth. Buy this jacket only if you can fill it. BELLY size is more like 48 inches. Chest is bigger by 2 inches than spec.

I have a long, thin neck, and the collar was way too large for me.

I have bought this type jacket for years. Perfect for here in NC. Jacket was exactly what I wanted but it was too small. I wear a XXL and this was no bigger than a XL. Had to send it back which LL Bean has a very good return policy. Sad that it didn't fit.

I bought this jacket in mid September of 2024, size regular and in navy. I had to replace the same jacket bought many years ago whose zipper finally broke after many years of wonderful service. The quality and attention to detail in manufacture of this one was just fine, although I do wish the interior (left side) zippered pocket was located closer to the breast position and had a zipper that was horizontal instead of up and down (seems like it was meant only for a cell phone.) There were two problems with the jacket. First the sizing was tight in the chest and back such that if it is worn over a layer that includes a flannel shirt things would be too constrictive. Other purchasers have commented on this detail and they are correct. Also, the elastic at the bottom, or hem, had very little stretch to it. As a result, the jacket bottom can't be positioned below the waist after zip-up because it feels like you have a tight rubber band or girdle around you. I had to let the bottom ride up to my natural waist to be comfortable. I solved this sizing problem by returning the jacket to an L.L. Bean store and exchanging it for a size in large. That took care of the tight fit in the body and the constraint of the rubber band elastic hem. But now the material in front puffs out after zip-up, making me look like I have a little potbelly, which I do not. Not the ideal, but I can live with that. The second problem, also mentioned by some other purchasers, was the noisy and "crinkly" feel of the exterior nylon shell. If you swing your arms when you walk, people will hear you coming before they actually see you. It is not at all like my old jacket whose exterior shell had a smoother, softer hand to it that made little if any noise. Perhaps this will disappear after the first washing, but I doubt it. In conclusion, if you are considering purchasing this jacket you will likely need to buy it one size larger than you normally wear. And be prepared to be disappointed with the annoying "crinkling" of the exterior shell. L.L. Bean needs to correct these two problems before they offer the jacket again in 2025.

A bit more bulky than my last Llbean warm up jacket. The nylon outer shell is also noisy. When you more around, it just seems loud when the material rubs.

I have been buying this exact jacket for many years and usually retire them when the ribbing on my left sleeve is super ragged from rubbing on my watch. The rest of the jacket is usually still in good shape, though some high wear spots on the shell have gotten a touch shiny. In the past, it's usually taken around 5 years of daily wear to get to this phase. I purchased my last jacket in 2022, and after 2 years, the jacket has started to get streaks of faded color. The blue is also now slightly grayer than all my past deep Navy Blue jackets. Maybe supply chain issues during the pandemic?
The breast pocket has stayed the same almost useless size :-(.
No one makes this style of jacket any more, or I'd switch.

A comfortable if somewhat stodgy light jacket for Spring/Fall. Fit was right; decent pockets; outer shell holds up well in rain. Zipper works easily.

This is the third jacket of this type that I have purchased over the years. The outer material has changed. The change has made it noisier when moving about. Not a desirable feature. i also suggest that you incorporate snap buttons to secure the collar to the shoulders when it is not in use. The change in materials made the collar more resistant to laying down.
