Value for price can't be beat. I'm on my third, yes, third, version of this classic. I have a similar weight jacket from another manufacturer that is not as warm as LL Bean

This is my second LL Bean warm up jacket within 8 years. The first, in a maroon color, had the collar fabric wear due to facial whiskers rubbing over time. I still use that jacket informally, and really like the color. My recent purchase is in Navy Blue, and the collar seems robust enough to last many years with facial whisker rubbing. Great quality, but wish the same jacket would have been offered with a leather lined collar.

Great jacket and perfect for the changing weather systems here. Lots of pockets and very easy on and off.

I had a similar jacket for years and it had got a little worn areas and tight. This new one was size larger and fit well and looked great.

This jacket is great for Fall and Winter days. It's snug at the waistline to ensure cold air doesn't get in. I'd recommend this jacket to a friend 10/10 times.

Hubby loves it!! Great quality!! Already had the orange, but it showed the dirt from work too much so I ordered the navy!! So it's the going out jacket!!!

I have previously purchase two of these jackets, as they are getting quite old the elastic cuffs are beginning to show their age, I insisted on another LL Bean coat. The fit, quality and warmth cannot be beat...the zippers work effortlessly...the lining doesn't pill and the style is classic. This is my go to jacket, good for casual or dressy occasions well built and sharp appearance...it's got it all.

I absolutely love this jacket! I did tons of research beforehand, read reviews, etc and looked everywhere for the style of jacket I wanted.....I even bought a competitor's brand but returned it because it didn't work out. Then I found this jacket and it was perfect. It had the right fit, super warm, comfortable and stylish - exactly what I wanted and more. With very simple and effective features. Plus everything LL Bean makes is high quality and durable. I hope they continue to sell this jacket exactly as-is. If I had any minor critique, it would be to make the interior (Thinsulate) color charcoal or black to match the exterior trim color....I just prefer the look of a darker interior shell color. The price of the jacket was also higher than other brands for a similar item - but I didn't mind because this jacket is built to last. This is a terrific jacket and I highly recommend it!

Very nice. Very well made. The jacket I replaced (same design) lasted 20 years!
