The jacket seems well made, so far, and warm enough, although we haven't had any really cold weather. The only thing I find disconcerting is that the materials used make "noise" when you move around. I have had similar jackets from Beans in the past and the fabric seemed to be more "flexible,"or softer. Not quite as loud as the heavy cords we used to wear to school in cold weather, but still noticeable.

Love the jacket. Warm; sheds rain; fits nice. But the pockets are too small. I have some items I have to carry that have never been a problem in my other jackets, but it this jacket they are a problem. It is irritating enough to take away one star.

This is the second warm up jacket I have bought from LLBean! I like the Navy Blue color! It does have enough room to wear a sweatshirt or sweater underneath. I hope it will keep me warm during the Winter in Columbus, Ohio!

Jacket was just what I had hoped, except... all the pockets are small. I carry several things with me and I like to put them in my jacket pockets. They fit, but barely. My wallet in particular strains the zippers when I close them. If the pockets were a tad roomier this jacket would be perfect. I took one star for this reason.

I have been wearing the warm-up jacket for many years and have always enjoyed their flexibility. It is truly a year round jacket here in Maine. The only reason I gave this jacket 4 stars instead of 5 is color selection. For many years this jacket was available in a nice green color, but this year the green changed to an unpleasant color. Guess I will have to be happy with the blue one this time around.

The sleeve cuff material is thin. This jacket is a replacement for my older LL Bean jacket that failed at the sleeve cuff. So i'll hope to get years of service before this new jacket fails.

I've owned several of these jackets and I love them. However the cuffs wear out long before the jacket does. Has LL Bean researched why they prematurely wear out? I would hope that the company is focused on quality through continuous improvement.

The jacket has great fit and quality construction. It's even warmer than I thought it would be.

For me the jacket was to short in the body. I find i can't get a tall or the sleeves will be 1/2 way down my hand. Quality was what i expected. Shipping was what i expected!

Bought this jacket to replace a nearly identical jacket bought from Bean's at least 15 years ago. The older jacket began to wear around the cuffs, and although I still wear it, my spouse insisted that I get a new one. I use the jacket in temperatures down to 40 degrees F. For colder temps, I might wear a sweater under the jacket.

Very comfortable and good looking. I only wish the jacket had one or two inside pockets.

It's a good-looking, well-made, quite warm jacket of good materials. The only thing that disappointed me was the elastic waist seemed tight for a traditional fit.

I bought this jacket a second time because the first one zipper failed after many (more than 5) years. The coat is perfect for three seasons and is quite versatile. The only gripe is the outer material seems to be a bit noisier. My wife noticed it right away. It is not a problem for me.

It's a well made jacket, however I wish the inside pocket was larger and had another one on the right side. It could be one inch longer on the large as well.

Well cut and comfortable. Love the shell from wind & light rain. The only wish is for more pockets, now a day, with all the phones and glasses we carry.

Previously bought this jacket in November, 2021 and gave it three stars due to the noisy nylon shell. Decided to try again after speaking to product people at LL Bean who suggested washing several times prior to wearing. They added the nylon shell was 3 ply to increase wind and water resistance. Also, prior purchase of jacket was size large and new jacket is extra large (due to increase in my build due to lots of swimming). Glad to say results are better. Extra size of jacket allows my body to move without constantly tugging on the jacket (more freedom of movement, less cracking noise from nylon shell). If you are between sizes, larger size may work better for you as it did for me. Wore walking dog today (slow walk, older dog) temperature 41 and damp day. Wore LL Bean flannel shirt under jacket. I was comfortable, not cold at all. Would rate as 5 star but in my mind I want to compare to the older model (supplex nylon shell and polartec 300 fleece lining). That was a great jacket. This is a step below that but still a pretty good jacket. Giving 4 stars but wish I could give 4.5 stars. That would be more accurate.

This is the perfect three season jacket. The only change I would make is the inside pocket zipper is very noisy. I'd either keep the same zipper throughout the jacket or add a tether like the front zipper to weigh it down.
