I'm a woman with long arms and a short body so a men's regular size jacket fits me just perfect. Love the elastic around the Cuffs and the waist. the wind doesn't blow inside the jacket like the woman's warm up jacket. They need to redesign the women's warm-up jacket.

I have had my first LLBean warm-up jacket for about 12-15 years; it was beginning to fray at the cuffs. The new one is very much the same. I use the large, tall to allow space for a sweater over a flannel shirt.
The basic measurements are the same, but there are a couple changes to note. The inside pocket is set higher, a much better position. The sleeves are larger, allowing much more room than I need. They do not taper nicely to the cuffs like the old jacket. They balloon where sewn to the cuffs.

I like this jacket so much, that I bought a second one! One for "good" use, and one for walking the dog, messing around in the woods, etc. I'm surprised just how warm it is. I have worn it in mid 20 degree weather for 10-15 minutes, just standing around, and stayed very warm, even with only a light shirt on underneath. And recently, I had my house roof replaced and stood outside for hours in upper 30, low 40 deg weather and was plenty warm the entire time.
It is good looking, extremely comfortable, fits well, and it water resistant. Plus the collar is long and large enough to protect your neck if you extend the collar completely. The sleeves are long enough, and the jacket itself is quite long enough. I really like it!

Design and quality very good, however it is a bit heavy for most of the weather in North Texas. I found that because of the extra insulating material, the large size seemed a little too snug.

I've been buying L L Bean Warm-up Jackets for years - this is my sixth, and I currently have three of them! This is a warm, comfortable jacket with room for layering or a go by itself. I'll always have at least one of them!

I had been looking for this style jacket for a few years. I had one very similar that I had bought from LL bean many years ago that was wearing out. This is not quite the same, but close enough. Love it

This coat is the full package and exactly what I was looking for. Great weight, and extremely warm with the Thinsulate. Waterproof. The back is not too short so it does not ride up your back when bending over or sitting. Really well built. You can tell the quality on this jacket as soon as you put it on. The interior of the sleeves are slick polyester so things go in and out smoothly. BUY THIS JACKET!

I bought this for my 16 year old son...he outgrew his small one and passed it down to his 14 year old brother. Both of them like this style. It's plenty warm for the "really cold" days we get here in Georgia. It also wears well. The size small coat my older son wore for 2 years before handing it down to his brother, and it's still in great shape!

This jacket fits so much better than expected. I did go to store to insure proper fit. I usually wear XL but needed XXL in this jacket.
I like is so much we got one for our grandson for Christmas.
I did not get Tall, that one is for our grandson.

I was surprised with this jacket based on last year's reviews. This purchase was to replace my 30 year old jacket. The liner was stretched and the cuffs were worn, tearing, and unraveling like crazy. This version is a nice replacement. The placement of the internal pocket on the inside zipper provides better pocket support and reach as opposed to the former pocket set in the lining itself where you make a longer reach; these features provide improvements over the older version. The fit is appropriate and comfortable.

So, after 15 years, I had to retire my previous warm-up jacket! What a drag, it was "broken in" to me, but the zipper pull broke.
The new jacket is well made, warm, sized as expected, and almost compfy!
As a woman, I wish Bean still made it in Women's, slightly different cut.
I wish the Cayenne color was less red, but I'm satisfied.

I bought this jacket after having one of your sweat shirts give me excellent service. I wanted a jacket for the seasonal change warmer than a wind breaker but lighter than a winter coat. This jacket fits the bill perfectly for the changing seasons. Not to warm and not to light but just right.

This my second warm-up jacket. The first one I bought 5 years ago I now use working in the yard. Very comfortable and warm working outside on cold fall days. Living in NH this jacket keeps you warm on those cold windy fall days and dry should a shower come up.

I have worn LL Bean warm-jackets for years. They are the perfect 3 (or4) season jacket for nearly all occasions. These jackets do what they say they will do and ware like iron. The only reason I have to buy new jackets is to get a new color. This is a buy that you don't have to guess about.

Fit was my biggest concern, however, it fits quite well. The warmth is great, as is the comfort. The inner pocket is perfect for my keys. I highly recommend this if you are looking for an all around winter jacket.

My husband received the warmup jacket as a gift in khaki moss, great in large tall. The fit was to fitted for him he exchanged for xl tall so he can layer fits really nice. The jacket is warm in 30 degree weather. Took the jacket to a store to exchange customer service went the extra mile to accommodate. Unfortunately tall is not carried in the store so it was ordered and sent. Delivery was prompt.

As summer turns to late fall in California, this is perfect for less-than-pourdown rain and 35-50 degree weather. Comfortable fit. It is a bit hard to pull on over any thick wool sweater, as fleece grabs wool. Otherwise, perfect in every way.

I returned the jacket because my grandson did not like the style. I, on the other hand, would have exchanged it for my size if I did not already have a closet full of good LLBean outerwear. No idea how the jacket would wear in the long run, but it is good lookng and appears high quality.
