I have been wearing L.L. Bean Warm-Up jackets for close to 30 years now, and in all likelihood will continue to do so for many years to come. The one I just bought is my 3rd, I think, so you can deduce they're durable. I mainly replace them when my size requirements change, not because they stop doing the job. I lived in Texas until 2013, then continued wearing my Warm-Up jacket after moving to Colorado, so they function in a wide variety of climates. They clean up well and keep me warm down into the single negative digits Fahrenheit (as long as I implement a reasonable amount of layering underneath, like a T-shirt and a crewneck sweatshirt), so 'nuff said. I do recommend that, unless you are short in the torso, you buy a Tall size to make sure it comes down over the top of your trousers.

This is my second one of these jackets. I have been waiting for it to go on sale as I feel it is a much better jacket at $75 that at $100! I love this jacket. It is warm, very water repellant and perfect for a brisk Southern California day or evening! Definitely recommend this jacket!

Great look. Warm, and easy to put on because the lining of the sleeves keeps sweaters or heavy shirts from 'dragging' as it is pulled on. I especially like the way the sleeves have a compression material at the wrists, to keep them warm by keeping the cold out.

This is my new favorite jacket, but it took four tries to get the right size. First LARGE was too small so I exchanged it for an XL. The waist on this one was for an XXL so I exchanged it for another XL which fit much better but was just too large overall. I thought if the sizes were this variable I would exchange this one for a LARGE again and it fit fine. If I did not want this jacket so much I would have given up after the second try. L.L. Bean, you need to quality control this supplier a lot closer.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas in the Crimson shade. He loves this jacket. The temp has been single digits to teens lately and he states the jacketbis very warm and very comfortable.

I can't count how many of these jackets I've( and my wife) have owned over the years. Normally I own two at all times, one for hiking and a second one for everyday use. Ever couple of years I replace the everyday use one, not because of the quality, but because I get grease from our farm tractor on it that won't come out. The only thing I would change is, I wish the fleece lining was also in the sleeves.

I bought this jacket a few years ago when I was living in the northeast, and it is the most comfortable jacket ever. Last year I moved down to Florida, and this is the only jacket that I kept. I ride a scooter everyday, and I can honestly say the windproof and warmth of this jacket is the finest. It is so comfortable, you do not mind riding on a cold morning. Awesome jacket LL Bean, keep in stock forever!!!

Live in Alaska and this is my go to jacket from the 30s to -10. Very easy to layer a medium to light base layer under it. The big reason is the lining of the sleeves. They are nylon and make it a snap to pull it over the undergarment, no bunching of the sleeves. Plus it's perfectly warm layered properly. Any colder and I go to down.

This was a great coat. Substantial, sleeves the correct length for a tall man.
For my husband and son in law, LL Bean is the only place I can buy anything in a large tall and know it's going to fit perfectly.

I have been wearing Warm-Up Jackets for many years. I usually buy a new one every 5-7 years, keeping the old one for yard work, dog walking etc. I wear it almost every day from October through March unless the temps drop to low teens or single digits. (Bean's moderate activity temperature ratings are quite conservative for me). The jacket looks good after many years of use and washings, and it resists water and dirt quite well. It is warm without being too bulky, and the knitted cuffs and hem keep out cold drafts.

We live in VA and my husband loves his new jacket. This time of year our temps are anywhere from 40s to 60s and he's been wearing his jacket every day since he got it.

Several years ago, I got the identical jacket in a different color. After constant use (our winters last about 6 most in upstate NY), the cuffs were beginning to fray and unravel so I did not have to shop around for a replacement but did decided to 'mix it up' a it by changing fro green to blue.

My husband loves this jacket - it's actually his second one. The first has been demoted to his work-in-the-yard jacket. It's warm without being too bulky. Stylish, looks good with jeans for a casual event but can also be worn for a more dressy occasion. It is definitely the quality you would expect from L.L.Bean.

I''ve owned two other similar jackets from two different, well-known stores. This L.L. Bean Warm-Up Jacket is better than either and one of the others was at least $40 more. The body insulation is thicker and warmer. The fabric is more substantial. I love the collar and how it stands up and holds its shape. Couldn't be more pleased.

I purchased this for my husband and he loves it! The fact that there is a gathered bottom and fleeced lined is up his alley. He will definitely be using this when he rides his motorcycle.

Comfortable and warm at lower temps (20s), while not being too warm at warmer temps (30s). Lightweight, which I like.

I purchased the XL-tall because I have found most jackets sleeves are too short. This fits great and is much warmer than I thought it would be.
Overall great jacket.
