Super comfy shoes, nice design en great finish! For me they are to soft en flexible for trailrunning or even hiking. I would like the torsion stiffness to be a lot higher.

Bought these because of Gortex waterproofing and paid the premium price vs. competing GTX shoes. Just took my dog for a walk in the rain. Went about 0.4 miles. My feet should be dry right? Nope, they are wet. These shoes did keep my feet dry walking around Petra in the Jordanian desert in June. So maybe that's where Arc'terxy did their product testing-- in a desert, in the summer.

I have had a few other trail running shoes and these seem very well made by comparison. They are very comfortable and I am looking forward to getting more time in them.

Cold, hot, rain, snow, slush, mud, dry dirt, etc.
They endure unlike any shoe I've had since 1990.
Other shoes tear at the toe-box seams in 3 months. They hold for 12+ months.
Up to 50 miles a week in all conditions.

I ordered these online in 8, I fit an 8 but the 8 size is a bit too big, but 7.5 wouldve been too small, but didnt have 7.5 in-store or online anymore, so I'm pretty much stuck with these now since I tried to run in them. Does anyone have insole recommendations?

Looks like a good shoe. Unfortunately the sizing is difficult. 10 too small and 11 way too big. Other brands have less gap between these sizes.

Firm and average performance and all depends on your needs. Great performance on a muddy/slushy trail with a decent grip but firm ride. Very very firm once you hit tarmac(ish) surface. Originally purchased for my winter street runs but because of the firmness, will have to keep as a trail shoe only. Midsole is not very responsive. Also not sure about the LD because of the above. Laces will become undone fast so have to tuck them into the tongue pocket, and too long also. Fits bigger .5 size. I had v2 and not much changed. If you're looking for a cushioned shoe-look somewhere else.

I bought this a year ago and didn't wear it often. I wear it this year during rainy days. My feet still got wet. I'm very disappointed about the quality with the money I spent. Please improve the quality

This is my 2nd pair . For the price you pay , they need to put better laces on these shoes . You need to double knot each time and harder to remove if you do it . I replaced both my pairs with regular cheap shoelaces and it works better .

I purchased these 2 months ago. I used them from the 6th of May to the 18th of May, covering 15 mikes a day on average. Shoes began to split, allowing some water to enter

Recently picked these up and I'm a little disappointed. I'm a pretty avid trail runner gets ~80km a week on both road and trail. The shoe provides a nice, confidence inspiring platform, with great light trail to road versatility. However, these are far too firm to advertise as a "long distance" shoe. They feel dead underfoot. Nimble, yesbut I wouldn't dare run a trail marathon or ultra in these. 20k max and even then I'd be hesitant. My other gripe is the upper. The overlays in high wear areas are great but the upper feels hard, baggy, and ultimately pretty cheap.
I find it hard to recommend these to others when there are so many great options in a similar price range (Speedgoat, peregrine, Mafate, peg trail)

Great shoe for the first month until each insole started moving when wearing (and yes, I was sized in store), as well as the heel quickly started tearing. Definitely a new product with room for improvement

I bought these shoes in December and it took three months of use before I had holes in the bottom of both shoes. Vibram ultra light sole is not up to arcteryx durability standard. do not waste your money

After having owned two pairs of Norvan LD2s, I thought I'd take the leap to the LD3 GTX. Not sure what changed, but the fitment on these could not be worse. Tight in the toes, loose in the heal. I am stuck with a non-functional pair of shoes, since Arcteryx won't exchange once you've tried a product on. Inconsistent product offering based on product sizing that I am experienced with. Do not recommend!!!

New Arc'teryx flip flops! These sneakers are very comfortable to wear. But unfortunately, the material doesn't appear to be a high quality. This happened on a run when they snagged on a root. They got completely destroyed and I had to throw them away.
