All seams hold - no splitting - even under immense use in all weather (frigid, snow, rain, severe heat). 35-45+ miles a week. Dirt/mud/snow/ice/rain/concrete/stair-workouts/hills/etc. My past shoes would begin to tear-away after 3 months.

I bought these 3+ months ago and wanted to wait until I hiked the Grand Canyon Rim 2 Rim before reviewing. Just completed the hike earlier this week and I couldn't be happier with the performance of these shoes. With more than 130 miles on these during training hikes, and then the actual hike, these maintained excellent grip, comfort and water resistance. Even with the extreme canyon temps, one change of wool socks during the trek kept my feet in great shape and no hot spots or blisters. Feet stayed dry after multiple BA creek crossings to/from ribbon falls and the creek leading up to to Indian Gardens. I would definitely buy another pair when these wear out, but they still have plenty of life. Having owned 7+ pairs of Arc'teryx shoes, these are the best in their entire line-up in terms of comfort and durability. The only thing I would do different for my next R2R is pick up a pair of gaiters to help with the sand and loose gravel present on the trails.

I use these primarily for winter and mud season trail running. I have yet to find a condition where these shoes do not preform well. On road, off road, muck, gravel, rock, they have been great. 20+ miles a week through the snow and spring melt and they would look new if I cleaned them. I have a hard time find a shoe that will keep my heels locked down due to a high arch and wide front foot. They fit so well, I have a pair of non-GTX for warmer dryer conditions. They are easy to over tighten. Once they are laced, that's how the fit is going to stay.

I purchased these a few months back. I wore them everyday on a trip to Ireland and Northern Ireland including around cities and hikes up carrauntoohill in county Kerry and up cave hill near Belfast. I also wore them on morning runs a few on trails and a couple through some cities. Most of these outings there was some rain from mild to wild. Performed amazing in all aspects feet stayed dry, great traction, and the sole performs great for longer runs. I have found some soles are too soft such as the Nike Pegasus trail this is a bit stiffer and bit more pop to it. Overall I love this shoe! I just wish they offered a wide size, I'd even pay a little extra. In boots I normally get a EE size, tennis shoes I get away with standard width. Not with these my feet were definitely hurting after the longer days.

I use these shoes for everyday walking in the city as well as going on trails either at lunch time near the office or on the weekend. My feet do not feel tire at the end of day, such a nice feeling. They fit perfect for my wide feet.

Best running shoe I've tried. Hands down ever. Support, comfort, and fit are perfect. Had then for over a year and still so much cushion. They are wearing well, with some creasing but compared to other training shoes not bad at all. Love the light weight and waterproof breath ability of these shoes. Must have for travelers who just want to bring one pair of shoes. They accommodate every function, perhaps other than formal. Definitely buying another pair when I need to.

I run trails daily, and these have become my go-to set. Just the right amount of stiffness to feel comfortable on the dirt and gravel, but cushy enough for the odd jaunt on the pavement. They keep the weather out but are not too hot on warm days. A great overall product. Fits true to size.

I've been through a few pairs of the Norvan LD shoes. One thing that stands out to me is although the gore Tex version is slightly warmer then the non gore Tex version I find it significantly better then other brands where I can wear these shoes for trail runs up to about 20c before I feel the heat. I have found with other brands with goretex my feet overheat when the temp is above 10c.

I bought this at the store in Denver 2 months ago while traveling to the yellow stone. actually the most frustrated part is that I had been waiting for the black one for 11 months and it had been always out of stock (with or without GTX), and finally I gave up, I can't understand why no re-stock for black ones, anyway I bought the one with Shark/Void color. I had a little concern about breathability for this pair of shoes at the beginning although GTX is so-called 'breathable' . with one weeks of hiking in Yellow stone and Grand Tetons, it goes really well, comfortable, supportable and not too moisture. my feet are wide and this pairs of shoes fit well

I recently purchased the Norvan LD 3 GTX in 'void' color and have worn them multiple times for city walks and hiking. These shoes excel in comfort; they are probably the most comfortable sport shoes I've ever owned. They are perfect for wide feet, and not surprisingly, my fasciitis has improved. Compared to the Aerios GTX, the Norvan LD 3 GTX are more flexible and provide greater cushioning. If you have any knee conditions, these shoes are fantastic.

Love the high level of quality, very lightweight. I have neuropathy really bad in my feet, and coupled with having to stand for 8 hours at my job, they are a game changer for me. I have to use special orthotic insoles, so I ordered a size up, and inserted them and I'm no longer in pain. Thank you
