I've put hundreds of miles on road, trail, and mountain terrain with little signs of wear. The shoe offers plenty of support for rocky terrain with reasonably sticky rubber for a non approach shoe. The GTX works amazingly well having gone through numerous heavy rainstorms with dry feet.

These shoes are great for running and interval training! The extra cushioning on the bottom compared to the older versions adds much needed support when running on the treadmill and outside on the concrete as well! Perfect for running, cardio, and everyday use!

Excellent shoe! Confortable, well structured to add orthopedic insoles. For my second pair of shoes they are still waterproof even acter 1 year fo use. Th only point of view to improve is the laces that often come off.

Bought a pair for my South West Coast Path hike, 650 miles in total. I wanted a lighter waterproof shoe that traditional mountain shoes. Shoes have great comfort, and waterproof what is always nice in the UK. Disadvantage was that the sole was completely worn out at the end of the trip, there were holes in the sole.

Very comfortable to wear and reliable waterproof protection. The con is that the waterproofness comes at the cost of breathability. Breathability isn't terrible but also not great.

I bought this at the store in Denver 2 months ago while traveling to the yellow stone. actually the most frustrated part is that I had been waiting for the black one for 11 months and it had been always out of stock (with or without GTX), and finally I gave up, I can't understand why no re-stock for black ones, anyway I bought the one with Shark/Void color. I had a little concern about breathability for this pair of shoes at the beginning although GTX is so-called 'breathable' . with one weeks of hiking in Yellow stone and Grand Tetons, it goes really well, comfortable, supportable and not too moisture. my feet are wide and this pairs of shoes fit well

I got these shoes for trail hiking, and they have been fantastic. Super lightweight, fashionable, and durable. The Gore-Tex keeps stuff out, from water to sand and everything in between. The only drawback is that this leads to a lack of breathability, but that's not a big deal to me at all. Excited to continue wearing these shoes for years to come!

Love the high level of quality, very lightweight. I have neuropathy really bad in my feet, and coupled with having to stand for 8 hours at my job, they are a game changer for me. I have to use special orthotic insoles, so I ordered a size up, and inserted them and Im no longer in pain. Thank you

This is an outstanding pair of shoes. Ive been running in a pair of these for over a year now, ranging from training runs around the neighborhood to 10k - 50k runs here in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. In terms of performance, these have become by go-to pair of shoes for colder, wet conditions that are muddy, slushy, or have snow up to six inches. My best day in these shoes was running a marathon over 20 miles of snow. They were soaked by the end, but my feet were warm and the fit was so good for me I never got a single blister. I have 200 miles on them now and theyre still in really good condition. Couldnt ask for more. Small details. The lace garage is excellent, and the flat laces are so much more comfortable and easy to adjust than the Salomon system. I did have to replace the insole to get the right amount of arch support.

Great shoes which meet Arc's standard of high quality. I was fairly satisfied with the waterproofness and comfort. This is my second pair and my experience with both is similar. A few gripes - the laces do not stay tied unless you double knot them, my feet got very warm in them especially on sunny days, overall build robustness could use improvement - I wore both my shoes for under a year under moderate us and didn't hold up as well as I would have hoped. See picture where the tongue separated from the base of the shoe 6 months in. This will be my last pair of these, but they were good while I had them. I used them for everyday use, hiking, and running.

I've been using these shoes since mid-summer on forest trails and in the alpine. They offer excellent cushioning and energy return, which is great on steep descents and despite the volume of mid-sole cushioning, these are still lightweight. The grip is consistently good, be it on loamy forest floors, wet roots or granite slabs. The length of the shoes is good although I do find them a little wide meaning the shoe box is puckered up slightly when I tighten them to be snug around my foot. One downside is that these are not great to use in hot conditions (I've only tested them in the summer and early autumn when it's been >30 c) as they cannot evaporate the sweat quickly enough resulting in my feet getting minor trench foot. Therefore, I recommend these only for cooler times of the year or when it's raining, but that's what GTX shoes are for so I can't be too critical.

I couldn't be more please with these shoes and their performance on and off the trails. I was in need of some new hiking shoes and I prefer trail runners to actual hiking books for their light weight and streamline fit. I knew I was going on a big trek so I opted to try these out as an alternative to my Sportiva hiking boots which, were bulky and wouldn't fit in my travel pack. I had gone on a few hikes with these shoes around the bay taking them on trails and on pavement to break them in before hiking the full 40 miles around the Andes Mountains. These shoes did not disappoint, I was the only person on the trek that didn't develop blisters. They handed well on gravel, rocks, stream crossings, rock hoping, and were also around town and through the airport! They are gortex so my feet didn't get wet and they shoes were still breathable so event through we had long hiking days, my feet weren't that sweaty.

For me, the perfect shoe; theyre massively cushioned, which is awesome because a lot of off road shoes minimise the cushioning, theyre waterproof, as much as a low top shoe can be, the soles are really well cleated, if I had one criticism it would be that the laces dont stay tied unless you double knot them. I have wide feet and they fit just fine and length I would suggest, is true to size. Super comfortable and so far, holding up well.

After having owned two pairs of Norvan LD2s, I thought Id take the leap to the LD3 GTX. Not sure what changed, but the fitment on these could not be worse. Tight in the toes, loose in the heal. I am stuck with a non-functional pair of shoes, since Arcteryx wont exchange once youve tried a product on. Inconsistent product offering based on product sizing that I am experienced with. Do not recommend!!!

I purchased these a few months back. I wore them everyday on a trip to Ireland and Northern Ireland including around cities and hikes up carrauntoohill in county Kerry and up cave hill near Belfast. I also wore them on morning runs a few on trails and a couple through some cities. Most of these outings there was some rain from mild to wild. Performed amazing in all aspects feet stayed dry, great traction, and the sole performs great for longer runs. I have found some soles are too soft such as the Nike Pegasus trail this is a bit stiffer and bit more pop to it. Overall I love this shoe! I just wish they offered a wide size, Id even pay a little extra. In boots I normally get a EE size, tennis shoes I get away with standard width. Not with these my feet were definitely hurting after the longer days.
