The Cloudrunner is the "odd-man out" in ON's line up. Straight away, I'll say look at any of ON's other running shoes before this one, but if you are looking for a more "Hoke-esque" shoe start with the new CloudMonster. It has a front rocker that propels you forward with all the mid foot and heel protection you want too. But back to the CloudRunner. I'm long time wearer of the Cloudflow and Cloud X because my feet demand a firmer, lighter shoe. But those models are less than ideal for longer runs because they are not built-up. So when I saw the new CloudRunner and CloudMonster. I saw a potential place for one of them in my collection. It's obvious I went with the Cloudmonster. There is no worse feeling that running in a pair of tug boats, which is how the CloudRunners feel. All that build up in the heel (and not with ON's Hellion foam) makes every stride harder and more miserable. There is no natural or engineered "spring" to push you forward. It's just "plod, slap, plod, slap." And at the CloudRunner's price point it just makes it hurt that much more. There are so many more enjoyable shoes for the same money, even ON, which is why the CloudRunner is an odd duck. But even if they were less expensive, it's just not a fun shoe to run...or walk in. The fit is true to size for ON, no variation there. I find ON's run bigger than Saucony, but similar to Brooks and Mizuno. The on-foot feel is snug and locked in for my narrow heels (I tie my shoes w/ the heel lock method). The design of the shoe is nice, as ONs usually are.

I found that there are inconsistencies in this model in particular. I got the first pair trough ON website directly and I noticed that there was a defect on both shoes; the way the reinforcement on the toe where the chemical sheet is placed created an ugly wrinkle between the heat seal toe and the mesh on the vamp every time I flexed the shoe when I walked.... it is a matter of time for that to break the mesh... Also heat seal logos on quarter weren't that well made... this pair was made in Indonesia and I returned it. I ordered a second pair, same model and size ... made in Vietnam, much better... you can tell the toe is done differently & the problem is mostly solved. This shoes did not have the Swiss flag while the other on my first order had it. Although I like the shoe I am not a 100% convinced .. fit also seems a bit tighter that the previous one...

This product was purchased on 10/27/22. My 13 y/o is hard on shoes but they at least typically last 6 months unless foot growth.

I’m 46 years old and have owned many pair of high quality sneakers. These are easily the most comfortable I’ve ever worn.

First time purchasing On shoes and I have to say, I will definitely purchase again! Very comfortable, very stylish and they really do feel like you're walking on clouds. I have a terrible time finding sneakers that fit properly and are comfortable right out of the box. These did both, I've been wearing them on vacation this week and doing a lot of walking, they've provided lots of support and comfort. Best sneakers I've ever purchased hands down!

Plush and comfortable right out of the box. Cushioned but not to the point of feeling like I have marshmallows tied to my feet. Toe box has plenty of room and the heel fits like a glove - no heel slip like Hoka! I’m in love.

Excellent shoes - so very comfortable. I usually have issues with shoes being too narrow and these fit perfectly on my wide foot.

I've been a straight up size 12 in every shoe I've purchased over the last 25 years. The size 12 Cloudrunner shoes I ordered we're a half size large and to narrow. Ultimately, I had to get these in a size 11.5 Wide to fit my size 12 foot just about perfect! Other than then sizing weirdness, there a really nice, comfortable and stylish shoe for walking the city.

I liked them to begin with I wear a size 14 and they feel like a size 14. However, my pair did get a weird crease in the toes after wearing them for a while which ruined the fit and comfort. I do not think that I will be not getting the same style of ON shoe again, but I will look at other styles.

I wear a wide shoe. I took a chance on these On shoes that their wide fit would actually be wide. Honestly, it doesn't feel any wider than their medium width. If you need a true wide shoe, looks like we are stuck with the same old New Balance options.

I really wanted to like this shoe! The fit was perfect for my flat feet and are true to size. The airflow was perfect even on 95+ days, but they just are not soft enough to walk in for 12 hours. The only time they are soft enough for my heels is when i leave them in a warm car for awhile. I kept them for awhile hoping they would get softer but they havent.

I liked the style and look. the on cloud was less clunky looking than the hoka. But, The on cloud shoe is noticeably smaller than my other size 12's that i have. I ordered a wide and it was still snug. I took out the insole and compared it to my Hoka which has been worn and should probably be compressed and the on cloud insole was half as thick.

Awesome shoe! Held up well, at almost a year and a half of wearing. My son is hard on shoes, so that says a lot. Our whole family loves On shoes.
