Always been a fan of Merrell, my multiple pairs fit me so well. Was looking for black/white, lightweight with support as described, and wanted to love these, but with frequent ankle and foot swelling, sadly, a no tongue shoe is a no-go for me.

I have wide feet and high arches and insteps and couldn't even get my feet in these shoes!. They don't have a regular tongue. These just weren't meant for my feet.

The Bravada 2 is nothing like the original Bravada. So if you like the original, you probably won't like these. They are very tight and can not be loosened up because there is no tounge. This also makes they difficult to put on. The opening rolls under when you put your foot in. They fit like a super tight sock. The sole is uneven and does not give good support.

The "mesh" on the side rubs the sides of your feet the whole time you walk.
