Nice shoe but no tongue, can't make shoe tight enough

Really wanted to love these shoes, but found them wide in the toe box. Looked weird - too wide in the front. Where lacing started the shoe pushed on an old injury. Between these two things, I ended up returning these.

Love the color, it's lightweight but it was so uncomfortable on the trail. Eventho they were broken in, my feet were sore. The bottoms felt like steel no cushion at all

Stupidest shoe I've ever encountered! No tongue, horrible to get on, what for????

Logged about eight miles over 4 days in these shoes without much issue - don't like their appearance, how the shoe's tongue looks, and the laces are not fun, but the main problem was on the right foot, suddenly after 4 days of wearing, it's rubbing my heel raw. I got 3/4 of a mile down the road and had to turn back. The heel of the shoe has quite a ridge in the middle. I hope I can return them. They're not working for me.

poor lacing system and tongue attached at top makes difficult to put on quickly. Not much upper foot support but soul is good.

I love the looks of thesethe colors are gorgeous and the style is fun. But I've only walked about 8 miles in them and I'm already starting to see signs of wear and I'm afraid my toe is going to poke through the material soon. They also were advertising as extra grippy, but I wore them on wet sidewalks in my neighborhood and slipped quite a bit, which doesn't happen in any of my other Merrells. Maybe I just got a defective pair because this definitely doesn't match the quality I've come to expect from years of wearing Merrells, but I won't be ordering another pair of these.

No tongue so the fit was way too tight on the instep. The sides are too high and rubbed on the outside of both ankles. The fit is fine for the rest of the foot. I'm gonna try to stretch them out.

I didn't realize there was no tongue so they fit extremely tight against my instep. They are also too high for me on the outside just under the ankle. They rub at that spot. I am trying to stretch them out. The fit I ordered was right for the rest of the foot but way too irritating at the points I mentioned.

I purchased these; loved the look and features. The description, however, DID NOT SAY, that the tongue was absent -- that it was a "slip on" shoe. I did order my size (6 wide), but I could not get my feet in the shoes, without a shoe horn. THAT made this shoe "unwearable" for me, with my active lifestyle. So sad. I just sent them back.

I was so disappointed. Ordered wide width and they were definitely not wide width. Sent them back.

These shoes are not comfortable at all. Feet hurt after about 30 mins

I returned shoes. They had a built in tongue which made them difficult to get on especially if you need wide shoes. I was very disappointed because I generally like Merrell shoes.

Shoes have been downgraded in terms of quality. I used to buy them all the time. Insoles have changed and quality of shoes declined.

What has happened to Merrell quality certainly not what it used to be. I have several pair I didn't get returned that are going in the trash. Why no more specials like the one with Stinger. I get more compliments on those and have them almost worn out. They were one of a kind and can't get another in that style. You are putting out just plain poor quality. Recycled just isn't working for quality

Top too high and tight on my foot. The top of the shoe is all one piece and was uncomfortable for me. Sent back

Description did not say no tongue. Very disappointed it was a slip on. Hard to get on. Support is not what I'm used to with Merrill. I always bought Merrill because of the fit and comfort. VERY disappointed
