Love the look of this trail sneaker, but I ordered a half-size up as recommended, and with my narrow foot it just felt too big to give proper support. May try it in my usual size to see if that'll work.

I bought this shoe a few months ago and overall love it but took the laces out completely for a slip on shoe that works great for me.

Cool looking and comfortable. Only con is that the tongue is attached so I have to struggle a little to get them on

I like the shoes. They fit tight but comfortable and are very lightweight. I miss shoes having a tongue as it's easier to get them on

I liked these shoes well enough to buy a second pair. They are easy to get on and off, have a grippy sole, and a decent arch support. I like that they are firmer than running shoes, but not as stiff as a typical hiker. I have a wide forefoot but a normal width heel, and most wide shoes slip at the heel. These hold my heel snuggly but not too tight. As with every pair of Merrell tie shoes I have ever owned, the laces don't stay tied without a double knot. I wish Merrell would change the style of their laces!

They fit really well, my only issue is the shoe laces keep coming undone so that can be frustrating so have to make sure to tie it tight

Very comfortable. Not looking as well as Merrells I owned in the past.

Comfy; only problem is that it does not have removable insoles. Got them out to be able to use my orthotics, but the glue holding the ones that came with the shoes was horrible to get out.

I liked the styling and neutral color (charcoal) but the high tongue irritated my skin. I would have to wear a quarter ankle sock. They were comfortable but I would need to add more cushioning and support. I usually wear a 9 to 9 1/2 narrow. The 9 1/2 fit fine.

I usually wear a 9 to 9 1/2 narrow. The 9 1/2 fit fine in these. I liked the style and neutral color of the charcoal. They are comfortable but I don't know how long they would feel comfortable as they did not have much cushioning and support. I would need to add both. In the end, I decided on a Saucony.

I wanted something with a good bottom grip, and I like the way they felt somewhat with a high arch, which I've never had in a shoe before. They felt good the only thing I don't like about them is they are a little hard they're not cushiony, and after having a hip replacement, that's something I really would want in a shoe. I couldn't wait to take them off by the end of the day.

Not sure if I would buy another pair at this point bc of the heal rubbing & they are not as cool as I would like for the summer time.

Nice look, snazzy colors, really good sleeve type fit. I only gave 4 stars because I am still deciding how durable etc. they are, how well they wear in. They are not waterproof and with the nice colors, even a dewy lawn might get your sock toes damp. i have high arches and these have good arch support so on that front, I'm a fan. They fit my feet great.

Very comfortable on walks around the city and in the woods (1-6 miles). Laces come untied easily when not double-tied. 'Runs slightly large.

These shoes don't have a tongue. My feet are narrow and low volume, so when I tighten the laces the whole top of the shoe bunches up. Other than that, they're great shoes.

Overall comfortable and good fit, but felt a tiny bit narrow. I really don't like the attached tongue. Hard getting my foot in and almost broke my fingers trying to pull the heel on after inserting my foot. Maybe will loosen up some with use. I love the vibrant color and the fact that it looks more like a sneaker and less like a hiker, so a little more stylish and nice for wearing around town. Good arch support and traction, so also good for hiking, although knit upper gives a little more than one with leather would.

FIT AND STYLE WERE GREAT MY ONLY ISSUE WAS THE SHOE LACES: ROUND SHOE LACES DO NOT TIE AND STAY TIED(AND THEY LOOK SUPER BULKY WHEN YOU DOUBLE KNOT THEM). I HAD TO REPLACE THEM BUT THE SHOES WERE COMFY FOR THE ARIZONA DESERT AT 990 DEGREES.

I wanted to love these - they look so cute and comfortable! I have narrow flexible feet, so I did not pay too much attention to the comments about the tongue, but I should have! These are essentially a slip-on with laces to tighten them, which sounds great. Unfortunately, the shoe opening did not have enough stretch to get my feet into - like almost none at all! I would bet that if your feet slip in there, these would be great, but my scrawny feet did not fit in the opening.

A comfortable shoe, well made, stylish, with a good fit. I gave it a 4 vs 5 star due to the lack of a tongue, or one piece construction of the top of the shoe. This made is a bit snug to get the shoe on.

I love these for trail walking. I walk 5 miles several times a week and they are very comfortable. I had to return a 7.5 for an 8 because the 7.5 was too tight in the toes. I still feel the 8 is a bit short as one of my toes is tender after walking. I have 3 pair of other Merrells - Winter Moc and the Chill Slide. They are 7 and 7.5 respectively and fit perfectly. The Winter Moc was purchased over 20 years ago and I still have them! That is why I went to find a Merrell winter walking shoe. Just a bit disappointed in the fit but otherwise I love them.
