This is the wife's review. We ordered them because he had just had knee replacement and wanted them. He is very happy with them. We ordered more. We wash them on delicate and by themselves.

Wonderful cozy and warm both indoors and out. I use them as slippers in the house and to warm my feet while skiing. Always soft and wash up nicely

I walk along the Great South Bay every morning. I wear my long LLBean coat and these size small gray Marino wool socks and I am toasty warm.. temperatures range from 30 degrees to 3 degrees in the winter.. definitely recommend.

To be honestthese are the most comfortable socks I've ever owned. And they keep my feet warm in the cold weather. I hardly ever leave reviews, but this one deserves the time and effort.

Nice thicknesses and quality yarn. He says they are comfortable and will be good during midwest winters, as that has been a challenge with age.

Have worn these favorite socks for many decadesyear round wool for me. Always buy the same color so old socks mate up. Yeah, the heels wear through too soon, but I have a new trick for that. Cut the full sock shaft off at the worn out socks heels. Whip stitch a colorful yarn to finish off the raggedy cut edge. (I sometimes use a multicolor yarn from a potholder craft kit.). Wear those warm leftovers as wrist-warmers and ankle-warmers. They are great to wear on the ankles with wicked good sheepskin slippers (worn barefoot for warmth) and/or old mocs with new sheepskin insoles. Wear with the colorful yarn edge visible under your jeans or pajamas. (It is a fun "loving hands" gift for family members who will "get it.") Try it! Mikey likes it.

Thick and warm, great with ugg boots or moccasins. Not ideal for tennis shoes , too thick

Nice socks. Love natural fibers such as wool. They are NOT scratchy at all for me. They aare warm but not overly hot.

my favorite socks. i wear them in colder weather as slippers. have gone thru many pairs as the heels wear out. waiting for more as they are backordered. no rubber band effect eitherthick, warm & comfortable

These are the best wool socks left anywhere. They are almost pure, but made better w/ a touch of stretch. Therefore they wash w/o stiffening. In a world filled with vessel choking socks, the old standard from the old standard remains true to its roots.

I've bought many pairs of these socks over the years and love them. I recently made the mistake of using OxyClean in the machine. It ruins the wool so that they shrink and don't feel soft.

These are my first choice from October until April. They fit well and provide a nice warm cushion for my old feet.

Great socks... comfortable and fit just right. Caution: don't let someone (not me) put them into the dryer or they will fit your hamster.

Great socks. Very comfortable. Thought they would be too hot in this weather but are not any hotter than my plain white ones.

The socks are comfortable and continue to fit after repeated washings/dryings with no special laundry care.
