I love these socks! All the LL Bean merino ragg wool socks wear the same. They fit great and feel great and last about 3 years. I air dry them, but I've accidentally dried them in the dryer, and they're still fine. They are soft and NOT itchy at all. And warm--so cozy and warm. I wear them over half the year for everything (except weddings...)--sometimes i put them on over my summer no-shows at home when the AC just feels too cold. I use the Charcoal grey since it is closest to black and half my pants wardrobe is black. My original pairs were navy and black. I really wish you would bring back black!!! Yes, they are pricey, but so very worth it!

These are the only socks my adult son will wear. He loves them! He literally has worn no other sock in the past 6 years. He likes the navy color.

I've been wearing these for years, love them, they kinda keep my cold feet warm. And I've been buying them the same two pack. I just grabbed my last bunch I had. I musta bought them about two or three years ago. My shock, was the tag is still on them, $19.95. They have doubled in the two or three years. Shame on LL Bean.

Good fit good for all types of weather...somewhat pricy

Very warm and comfortable socks, perfect for winter days

I have several of the top brand's pairs of rags wool socks and I am happiest with these. They are wearable for day to day use--not just for hiking and outdoor activities. They keep my feet warm, are not so thick so that I can wear them with most of my casual shoes and they wash beautifully. These will be the ones I repeat buy--in fact, I already have. These are fantastic. It's becoming increasingly difficult to find quality socks these days, and when these survived a couple wash cycles, I quickly returned and purched other colors.

I purchased these socks in 1982. I have worn them every winter every day like slippers!!! I thought will this year has taken a huge toll on them. My children are saying enough Mom. Get rid of them! I looked at these reviews and have decided to sew them up!!!

I purchased these socks in navy. They are a 'true' navy. They are very comfortable providing warmth and a nice cushiony feel in a shoe. An excellent product!
