Just the right thickness; nice feeling of softness; washes perfectly in a laundry bag in cold water & no shrinkage in the dryer. My feet sweat slightly in hiking boots with these (I don't remember my past pairs of wool socks having this effect). HOWEVER real wool socks are difficult to find anymore, and I am very happy with my purchase.

Great quality and you'll never find a great pair of Sox's anywhere other than LLBean it's worth the money

Perfect - exactly as expected. The only problem is my dog ate through the heel on my second time wearing them. But that is not an LL Bean Problem. I need to just buy the dog it's own pair and not leave my socks on the floor.

Good fit, got the largest size even though my shoe size is only 12. Already worn and washed a couple of times and they still seem new.

too early to tell; must wear w/ slippers or shoes as past socks have gotten holes in them . we'll see in a couple of months how they hold up. they are super comfortable!

Great socks! Not tight around the top like so many are and VERY warm. They are a bit thiick but great with clogs - and sitting around the house! I ordered medium which are very roomy for my shoe size 7 foot. I was afraid a small would be too small! Might have worked, though.

This is a very good product. Will be nice as our weather gets colder. I try to keep my feet and ankles warm and this will do the job very well. They are a perfect fit and I'm very pleased with them!

I have abnormally cold feet in winter. I wear these socks to bed to keep my feet warm. I've put a lot socks to the test of warming my feet so I can sleep. LLBean merino wool socks are the only ones that pass the test.

Where are the 12" length socks? I have purchased both 10" and 12" in various colors, multiple times over the years. They were very popular (always on backorder). I know I'm not the only customer who feels this way. Why stop?

It's wonderful. The socks retain their shape after washing. Very comfortable. All you can ask for. I will be getting more.
