These are lightweight yet sturdy and they have good support. They hit at the right spot for my ankles, which is sometimes an issue with hiking shoes. They do run small so I would size up half a size, especially if you plan to wear them with thicker socks.

I wore these in Ireland. They kept my feet dry on rainy days!

These shoes are a staple in my wardrobe. I've worn them for years, only ever needing to replace them due to mishaps on my part (dog chewed one up, spilled concrete in another). This time I've leveled up and purchased a pair for work (construction) and a pair to keep as hikers, as I log many miles each week on the Cumberland Trail. They continue to be the most comfortable work and hiking shoes I've found for my overpronation and the waterproofing keeps me dry without being sweaty year round.

I now regularly use my original Moab shoes I bought several years ago for working out in the yard. They were my absolute go to for all things outdoors. They have been replaced with my latest Moab purchase just a couple months ago. Just wrapped up a hiking trip to Ontario and wearing these shoes made the trek so much better. So many positives- arch support, shock absorption, water proof, great stabilizer on uneven terrain. Keep up the great work in building an amazing shoe!

I've already done a review but I guess they can't remember. They are not completely waterproof. Otherwise fine

I have just returned from Glacier National Park, Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone and wore my Merrill Moab's everyday. They were awesome. No blisters. No cramps. No slips. My new favorite shoes!

Just wore my brand new pair to Switzerland. I never broke them in beforehand. They were such an excellent hiking boot - perfect an all-terrain

Took these to Scotland and they were equally good on hiking trails and cobblestones! Nice to have a waterproof shoe.

Great trail shoe with all the space my wide feet need. While waterproof in inclement weather, if submerged, you will get wet. Hiked 3 National Parks using this shoe and it's an ankle saver for sure!

Fit true to size. Wide width. Waterproof. Fairly lightweight. My feet do get warm in warm weather in them, but otherwise- love these shoes! They were comfortable with no break In required

I bought these in a 7.5 Wide. Great fit for my bunions, very comfortable. I went up a half size as I knew I'd be wearing thick socks. I just came back from hiking in Croatia and they were perfect for the mountain trails there.

Bought the Moab 2 a years ago Only hiked in them recently due to long recovery from a broken ankle. 5 easy to average hikes later...toe delaminating as seen in numerous other posts. So disappointed. Hope they corrected this for the Moab 3.

I can't say anything just terrible about shoe. I ordered a Keen, Merrell, Oboz, & Columbia looking for a waterproof hiker with heel cushion since I have plantar fasciitis. After trying all, the Merrell came close, but the Columbia had the best cushion therefore the best comfort for me. I also liked the Columbia better since I was packing for a trip. The Merrell is probably a more sturdy shoe but also a little heavier. I just needed a light hiker for Yellowstone & Teton trails.
I'd also recommend:
Columbia

They fit well and the color is great. A bit heavier than expected but not prohibitive. Have not used them in wet conditions, so I can't speak to that.

I wore these everyday, on a recent trip to Norway and Iceland where the weather can change severely times a day, based on your location. They kept my feet dry and warm and gave me confidence, in the stability of my steps on the rocky, wet mountain slopes.

I bought these 3 years ago they are still in decent shape I use them on all my monthly hiking water sports and camping trips. The do get wet on top mesh of shoe and they stay wet for a couple days but they don't breakdown like done hiking shoes. The only thing they broke down was the shoe strings. I want to get another pair just to have a different color.
