Secure boot with good waterproof protection. My first Merrell! I need to wear socks that come above the ankle for the maximum comfort. Would recommend!

I bought two different styles and brands to compare. It was a tough choice, but decided to return these in favor of Columbias. I like the color of these, but in general they made my feet look like boats. They're good though!

These boots are very comfy and warm. The toe box is generous and the arch support is good. I have always worn leather hiking boots so these are a change for me. I have only been wearing them a week but so far so good.

This is my 2nd pair of these. I bought them last year to make sure my feet would stay dry when walking the dog. I wear them for almost everything, including work (insurance loss control).

This would have been the perfect boot, except that my foot apparently needs a shorter length and a wider width. Overall this is the perfect shoe for hiking in the wet and cold and rocky places one hikes for fun, it was just not perfect for my foot.

I ordered these Merrells for short hikes over slightly rough terrain with gentle slopes. I wanted the waterproof feature because my other boots (Orthofeet) became completely soaked just from walking through 6 in. grass. Also, these Merrells were available in a Wide width. Today, I wore them outdoors for the first time and these boots seem to fit well and are comfortable. Because I have RA and have had several surgeries in both feet, it's not easy to find shoes or boots that fit my feet. These were wide enough in the forefoot and narrow enough in the heel not to rub. My only concern is that the toe box is more flexible being a lighter weight boot and they want to crease a little which only time will tell if this is a problem. There seems to be enough support in the foot and ankle area for walking over lumpy clumps of gramma grass and hidden rocks. Not being actual Gore Tex waterproofing, I'm not sure if these boots will be breathable enough during very hot weather. Because the round laces are more likely to become untied, I will likely change them out for oval shaped or flat laces.

I often have trouble with shoes. Narrow feet and high arches. I had some prior Moab's that are about 5 years old. Not the same shoe but I hoped these would be a close fit. Pleasantly surprised. A bit wide as expected since I have narrow feet but nothing an superfeet insole wasn't able to fix.

Fit well, felt good. Appreciated that they were waterproof and seemed to give improved footing/ traction.

These have been great around our farm, they have good stability and are comfortable.
