I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and completely waterproof these shoes are. I had to trudge through six inches of slushy snow and deep puddles and didnt get my socks even a little bit wet! Looking forward to wearing them in the UK and Ireland this year.

This is probably a very good hiking boot but too short for my longer foot and a little to heavy for walks in the woods.

I totally love these boots, they are so comfortable and I dont feel the cold even with regular socks on, Im so impressed. I went ahead and reapplied waterproof spray when I saw a post about it, but I noticed that the spray was definitely beading up, so I knew it was coated correctly but I wanted to ensure the waterproof ability for these amazing boots. Dont need to break them in they are good to go from Day One!!

Wore them on a recent rainy ruck and my feet were dry after 6 miles. I only took away one star for the insoles - not enough cushion for my feet and had to replace them for more comfort.

Wore these boots to hike a moderately difficult trail. It was the first time wearing them, and they were incredibly comfortable and provided good grip on rocky terrain. Im definitely a fan.

Wore these to Arizona for hiking in Phoenix and Sedona. I need Wide size boots and these were a great discovery. Perfect shoes, comfortable from the start. Great find, worth every cent and attractive. I bought my daughter the lower rise version and she loved hers too. We are both converts.

I purchased the wide size and it was not wide and supportive enough for my flat feet. Especially, the toe-box felt too narrow. I liked the overall look of it.

Not as wide as I thought they would be. Unfortunately, I'll likely need to go with the men's Moab to get a truly wide boot. I just want cute shoes that actually fit my feet. :(

Worn on one 3 day hike so far. No breaking in necessary. Wide width not too wide. No rain so can't say how waterproof the boots are. So far I am happy with them for the price level. Bought 7.5 wide women's.

Pretty comfy from the fry go except a slight pinch of my baby toes but it was gone after the second hike. Great traction on steep descents.

This was a purchase of a 3rd pair of Moab 3 shoes. My first 2 pairs of 11M fit so perfectly but the Burgundy felt like it was a 10. I wish there were an option of a size larger, but the 11 is the largest. Maybe I got a poorly made pair…so disappointed. If you can buy a size up I would recommend these…a beautiful burgundy wine color. Merrill’s are quality shoes

I needed some good hiking, walking shoes. I need a wider toe bed and narrow heel (I know, duck feet, right?). I have a bunion on my left foot. The 11M felt too short and narrow. I also purchased the 11W. It felt like a normal 11M in other shoes. Loved the overall feel of the Moab 3, my feet just didn't like them. If I put in my orthotics it helped with the sides rubbing on my ankle bone, but the top of my toes rubbed a bit. The tongue pad also rubbed on my ankle so I needed a taller sock. I think these will work for many people, just not for me with my quirky, sensitive feet/ankles.

I bought these for hiking in some mountains in Blue Ridge, Georgia. I am a wide foot size 9.5, and these fit true to size. I didnt even have to break them in. Completely waterproof as I went in a waterfall as well. I love them!

Moabs have been my go to hiking boot for several years now and they hardly ever disappoint! Overall, these have been no exception although I did notice that this version (Moab 3 waterproof) seems to run about a half size smaller so I had to exchange my original order for a half size up.
These boots kept my feet perfectly dry and warm while on a 4 day backpacking trip in the Great Smoky Mountains in pretty constant rain/wet conditions including walking through some pretty big puddles. They continue to require very little to no break in either, my feet felt perfectly fine on an 8 mile hike wearing these straight out of the box (once I got the correct size).

Im in love with my new hiking boots. After having my last pair for 4 years I decided it was time for a new pair. I had several people recommend these to me and Im so glad they did. I hike around 10 miles on the weekends (I know not much but its enough to tote out my dogs) and from the first time putting these boots on to break them in I have been in love. I dont have sore feet after each hike, if I end up going through water my feet dont get wet and they look good. These boots are super comfortable and I highly recommend them.

Ordered these in W after another brand wasn't wide enough. These fit my wide feet well, are relatively waterproof so far, and are very comfortable. Enjoying them on my walks and hikes.

Great boots. Love the wide width. So far theyve taken me all over the mountains in Running Springs, CA. Theres still tons of snow and my boots carry on. Weve been to Temecula, Carlsbad, Redlands, CA and Gilbert, AZ.

Im an active senior who lost her ability to walk because my arches dropped and my ankles were too weak. I needed a shoe that would offer support. My mission was to find shoes to help me walk again. Hiking shoes was my answer after many trials, I found Merrell to be the very best.
Im a happy camper walking all around town in my good looking shoes.

I want to love these, but as some other reviews have mentioned the arch support is a bit off. For me, the right shoe is perfect but the left arch hits further back than it feels like it should. I’m trying to get used to it by wearing them around the house and on short hikes and walks. I’ve tried adding over the counter insoles as well… we’ll see. I didn’t feel pain in my left foot just wearing them inside, but after just a mile walk in the neighborhood, I was really achy.
