These hiking boots are wonderful! I broke them in for about a week before taking a hiking trip to Texas and New Mexico. I hiked roughly 45 miles with these boots and had zero issues!! Highly recommend.

I love that when I get a new pair of Merrells, I can put them on right from the box and hike for miles! No need for that "break in time". They just feel great right away.

I have never experienced comfort like this. I suffer with bunions but these boots give such great support that I hardly notice. They are wonderful and I totally recommend them.

I always love a Merrell fit for a high arch. I've had these hikers for years and the only reason I needed new ones is b/c the new dog chewed one up!

I don't use these for hiking but for my job which has me on my feet 13 hrs at a time & averaging 17,000 steps a day. Before purchasing the Moab 3's, my heels hurt a lot by the end of the day. My feet now are pain free! Like others have said, these required no breaking in period, from day 1 they were super comfortable. I also appreciate they are breathable.

I buy nothing but Merrill. The fit is great. No breaking in period. I can go hike all day in comfort.

Love my new Merrells. Took them hiking at Joshua Tree National park. They were comfortable and had good support. They were great while rock scrambling. I knew I could trust the grip they had on the rocks and keep me from slipping. I think the arch support is better than my old Merrells. I did have to order a size bigger than I usually wear.

These boots arrived the day before our trip so I was worried about not having a chance to break them in. Well, there was no need! They were so comfortable from the moment I put them on! We walked and hiked for three days and my feet were so happy! I'm usually a size 8, but the 8.5 were perfect for me.

Highly recommend. I bought these boots to go on a 30 mile hike through the Grand Canyon. They gave me great ankle stability without being too high to restrict movement, and I never got blisters! I broke them in a couple weeks beforehand with some shorter walks, and my feet felt great during and after every time.

Absolutely LOVE these hikers. Very comfortable and lots of room for my wideish feet without having to order a wide width. True to size. No numb toes or blisters with these guys; didn't even have to go through breaking them in. Feel like they were made for me. Highly recommend!

I have planter fasciitis and work in a factory all day , these shoes are wide and have great heel and and ankle support and u can put your own foot inserts in them if you need too .I have 3 pairs of theses .They are also great for hiking

Great boots. Love the wide width. So far they've taken me all over the mountains in Running Springs, CA. There's still tons of snow and my boots carry on. We've been to Temecula, Carlsbad, Redlands, CA and Gilbert, AZ.

I'm an active senior who lost her ability to walk because my arches dropped and my ankles were too weak. I needed a shoe that would offer support. My mission was to find shoes to help me walk again. Hiking shoes was my answer after many trials, I found Merrell to be the very best. I'm a happy camper walking all around town in my good looking shoes.

I was recently involved in a Search and Rescue mission and wore my Moab 3 hikers in some pretty rough terrain. Not only were my feet dry after spending 10+ hours a day, hiking, climbing, walking through marsh and then snow, my feet did not hurt at all. This is my 3rd pair of Merrell hiking boots and each time they continue to amaze me. Thank you for making such a sturdy and reliable hiking boot.

Can walk for a long time with no pain and no sweat. It also keeps feet warm at cold weather.

Purchased shoes for my wife for our trip out to Utah this spring. Shoes held up very well and had plenty of grip for the hiking we did. Highly recommend!

Great hiking shoe. I have taken them on rugged rocky, sandy and water trials with no problem. Very roomy for your toes for those downhill hikes.
