The Moab 3's were comfortable and supportive even on the first wear - I climbed Camelback mountain! The confidence that this shoe provides in handling any kind of rough terrain is priceless. You cannot be stopped in these shoes!

Bought these about 3 months ago,love them. Immediately comfortable, great traction.

So far, the shoes are comfortable and they are getting broken in. I bought these to wear in Alaska in August, so I will not have good feedback until then on how they worked with their waterproof capability.

Colors suck. What happened with Nova Sky? Great shoe.

Comfortable and supportive hiking shoe. Love them!

I have bunions on both feet and a fourth toe on my right foot is a "Gouty Toe". The end of the toe past the last joint is swollen with uric acid crystals and has an open sore. I can only wear a shoe that is extra wide and has a large toe box so it does not rub on the gouty toe. These fit the bill. They are comfortable and I can wear them in winter when it is slushy.

Shoe seems to be fine, but dont buy if you have any ice. The sole of this shoe is super slick on ice. Went for a walk after a day where snow was melting, but started to freeze in the evening. Fell twice. It was like wearing Teflon. Nearly had to crawl back home.

I bought this pair of shoes less than two weeks ago. I had the Goretex version of these previously and wore them for years without issue. In fact I really loved those shoes and they were extremely versatile. Sadly these shoes do not live up to my previous pair. Within two days the shoes smelled horribly due to having poor ventilation. I have tried airing out the insole every evening but they continue to smell. I would not recommend these shoes.

Great shoe! I am on my 4th or 5th pair. However, I always have to get a better sole insert to support my foot better. Merrill has room to improve with and use a higher quality insert.

Bought Merrel's for the last 20 years because they fit me better than any of the other so called top brands. Usually buy 2 pair per year.

I have worn Merrell shoes for over 15 years now and specifically the Moab low cut hiking shoe as my everyday out in the elements since they have been available. Unfortunately this will be my last pair as the quality is terrible. The last three pairs of Moab 3 waterproof have had nothing but issues on the front of the shoe and inside the heal. Within a few months of wear the rubber sole will peel back from the tip of the shoe or the front surround will become detached. My latest pair bought in November of 2023 have the stitching at the front surround already fraying and I expect the surround will soon start to come detached. My last two pairs have had the same issue where the heal of the interior liner gets loose creating an irritating feel when worn. Such a shame this once quality shoe has become an over priced third rate product.

I usually get a full year from Merrells ... this pair had a lace support snap yesterday .. I only got 8 months. I only wear them to work (factory / office) - and only 5 days per week. I think the quality has gone down ... but the price certainly hasn't.
