I like the boots, fit well. The only issue I have is that the arch in the left boot kills me after an hour or so of wearing them. Change in the insole I guess.

Bought these on a whim for moderate snow situations. I dont do much hiking but I have a dog and need to take her out 3x daily regardless of weather. I have boots but they are difficult to put on. These Merrels slip on easily, lace up easily and are comfortable and supportive. They are absolutely waterproof and have deep tread and good traction. They wound up being my go to shoe this winter and I highly recommend them.

Had the Moab 3 Mid Waterproof for 2 weeks. Hiking with Pack , for build up to K2 Trek. Best mid boots ever, +1/2 size with medium Merino wool socks. Very comfortable, plenty of cushion, yet solid under foot. The tread, even on ice and in snow is better than expected. Can't wait to see how they handle rocky/ice trek for multiple days. At 14 F ( -10 C ), feet were warm. Only concern is the polymer laces. Even double tied, they do not stay tight.

I bought my first pair of the exact same boots. I just bought about 8 years ago. I hiked & walked through mud in them, walked in creeks, and in the jungles of Costa Rica. They fit great and held up very well, and theyre still in pretty decent shape today. So when I was going to go hiking in the Colorado mountains, I bought a brand new pair of the exact, same boot! If it works, dont fix it, I say!

A 90. Fit is good but the last lace hooks are a tad bit too low on relation to the tongue
Very minor.
Great for paved or rough paths

Incredible waterproof everyday shoe for the farm. I have had a few pairs of the Moab 2 low tops that werent waterproof, but decided I wanted more ankle support and waterproof. Boy did I make the right decision.these boots are fully waterproof, have good ankle support, great non-slip tread, and are still very lightweight!

Very comfortable, with great ankle support. The only issue is that the left shoe fits perfectly, but the right one is loose. I had a pair of Moab 2 that fit great on both feet, so I'm surprised that these don't.

I use this boot everyday. I own a small ranchette in north west Wyoming. I put on my boots early in the morning and feed horses and walk the dogs everyday. These boots are on almost all day. My feet are always warm and dry. The extra traction is much appreciated good with our icy Wyoming mornings. I hike everyday with the dogs averaging 5-10 miles so the boots hold up for about a year which is the best among all the other brands that I have tried. Im 72 years young and have downsized to a smaller place but this active cowboy wants to keep on keepin on and I think Merrill will take me there.

I use them hunting, they're working well so far hiking out and climbing trees. Feet have stayed dry. They are a little bulkier than the last pair of Merrells I had. I do not remember the last style I had but they started leaking during my second season using them. Hopefully these will last longer.

I wear these boots for work for the first year, then wear them hunting and hiking for another year or two. They are so comfortable and lightweight and I brag about my Merrells to all of my friends and buddies.

Fits well. Looks great. After wearing for a month and first time hiking in slushy 2 snow, the right shoe leaks all along the right side.

A decent boot for walking and hiking. I walk +/- 70k steps per week and these boots have served me well. I just bought a second pair.

Buy at your own risk. The quality control on Merrell boots is nowhere where it used to be. The outer sole on my Moab 2 waterproof boots started to separate from the midsole in less than a year, and after wearing the boots less than 20 times. No reason to think that the Moab 3 boots (which look just the same) would be any different. Merrell would not honor its warranty, even for boots bought directly from their website. Instead offering me a 30% discount on a replacement. Pretty much the same "deal" they offered to everyone else for cyber week. Can only advise to stay away from what used to be a decent company. Sadly no more.
Disappointed I,

My Moabs are replacing a two year old pair that I wore almost everyday around my Kansas Farm and while working my German Shorthairs. Durable, comfortable.I wear these, Chameleons, golf shoes and no other footwear.

Ive had these less than two months. In the rain this morning, they both leaked badly. Dont believe the waterproof advertising.

I wear them for at least 12 hours a day and they never hurt my feet. The only issue I have is the shoe laces have to be retired fairly often.

I've been wearing Merrels almost exclusively for over 5 years. These definitely have met my expectation so far. I had a pair of Moab 2s a year ago that hardly lasted 6 months and was wondering if the quality slipped. So far I'm liking this new pair. I'm only giving 4 stars because if they don't make it at least a year, they aren't worth 5. I use them for an everyday work boot. My time is split about 25% office and 75% field. By field I mean, Wisconsin, all weather, wet, snow, tall grass, mud, dirt, etc you know, THE FIELD. But at the end of the day, they are still fashionable enough to satisfy the professional standards of the office. Let's hope they get me through.

On a cold and damp 23-degree October night, i wore my Moab 3 Mid Waterproof boots to see the Northern Lights, 200 kilometers above the Arctic Circle. And while others complained about their cold feet and were unable to enjoy the unbelievable light show, my feet remained cozy and comfortable throughout the night. I have been wearing Merrell shoes since 2009 I wouldnt even consider any other brand of shoe for my outdoor activities.

Very comfortable hiker. Love the arch support, great fit overall. But VERY disappointed that these shoes are not in the slightest waterproof. Maybe if you just encounter slight splashes of rain, but in long wet grass you WILL get very wet socks. I very much intentionally purchased these because of the brand and the waterproofing claim. In looking at the material I was skeptical, but the salesperson was adamant that these were very high quality, very waterproof hiking boots. My very wet socks claim differently. There are numerous other reviewers with similar stories. Not sure if these are just chemically treated in the nylon areas and perhaps the treatment is simply inconsistent on the shoes, but if you want waterproof, look elsewhere. Otherwise, they are very comfortable reliable shoes.

I bought these about a month ago, So far very happy with them. They feel broken in right out of the box. I have probably walked 10 miles in them so far. I am a little concerned about how waterproof they are after seeing other unhappy reviews.

I've been a devout fan of the Moab, still evaluating the new tread pattern, their fit is comfortable right out of the box.

Ive worn 10.5 for years, but the Merrill 10.5 reg was too tight and the 10.5 wide was too big; the laces at the bottom now cinch up a bit with the wides. On my next purchase of MOAB shoes I tried the 10.5 regular, 10.5 wide, and 11 regular. Im much happier with the fit of the 11s.
My recommendation is buy (charge) several of various sizes, figure out what fit is the best, then return the others. The return process was very easy.
