Bought size 11.5, the same as the last two pairs I purchased. Thought they fit okay and wore them outside but after an hour realized they were too small.

I have purchased Moab J06011W for over 15 years. They are now discontinued and the last 2 pairs I have purchased and paid a lot of money for are not wearable. I'm not happy with either of them as they are so uncomfortable and hurt my feet. I have paid hundreds of dollars over past years and am disappointed with the replacements I have purchased and would hope the other model would come back to purchase.

This is my third pair of MOABs. The last two were my favorite shoes Ive ever worn due to their out-of-the box comfort and long lasting construction. I wore both pairs nearly every day and each one lasted me about 3-4 years. And they were as comfy as slippers from day one. I got my third pair, same shoe, same size, and the shape of the footbed has changed to the point where I cant wear them. I have worn them for about a month hoping that they just needed to break in or mold to my feet but the arches are way higher and contoured differently causing severe pain in my arches. I've worn them so I cant return them but I am back to wearing my worn out 4 year old pair and the new ones are going in the trash.

-bought less then 6 months ago and the sole is already worn to the gray undersole on toe and heel. -Inter sides on heels worn to the padding
-like the Moab 2 limited arch support and have purchased after market arch support to prevent planters faucitis.

I've been buying Merrell's for years. This time really disappointed. Initially bought this in size 14 which was too tight. Then reordered at 14W and it's way too wide. Walking in these I have two issues. They feel like I'm walking with bricks attached to my feet plus the inner removable sole literally makes my feet burn like pins & needles. Next pair, reaal soon, will be another brand - feel like Merrell lost its way.

Too big, too heavy, too 'chunky'. I gave them away. Don't you make LIGHTWEIGHT running shoes? Or sneakers?

The wide width was too wide. The shoe flopped around on my feet. I bought the same shoe several years ago and it fit perfectly, not sure what happened

Purchased them just over a month ago and love how comfortable they are, hate how cheaply made they are. The cloth loops that the shoelaces thread through pull apart while running. Both my left and right shoes no longer lace because of this. The thread throughout the shoes are beginning to come apary. In a price/quality comparison i would rate these very poorly.

I have been buying Merrell's in the same size through Zappos for a decade. These shoes were terrible. The left shoe fit poorly, and the right shoe was at least a size too large. Also, the right shoe was very poorly made compared to the left shoe - really shoddy. Don't know what's happened to Merrell, but I will never buy Merrell again. These are being returned.

The Good
Shoes is super comfortable and in my opinion is fairly stylish.
The Bad
Absolutely abysmal build quality, lace brackets breaking, pull tab broken and blew out both outer side of the shoes within 2-3 hikes.
Conclusion
If you want a walk around town shoes it would be great! If you need a hiking shoe look somewhere else (Merrel's quality has gone downhill drastically, I had a pair of copper something from them before that where bomb proof but these are horrible)

No cushion vs. moab2 shin splints after just a few weeks. Salesperson said they sell lots of inserts with moab3 vs. the 2. Tough wearing for several days in a row. It appears they were trying to save money. Too bad! I could wear the 2 all day every day. Can't wear these 2 days in a row. Might as well be bare foot on hot pavement. Lots of new competition though. Oh well, next pair-very soon! Waste of $$$$$$$.

I had high hopes when I heard about the Moab 3 being introduced, but come to find out the medium width is still like a wide width in most any other hiking shoe - disappointing.
About 3-4 years ago, Merrell Moab Ventilators in a medium (normal) width became a "wide width shoe" with the Moab 2 - like wearing clown shoes. If you had anywhere near a normal to narrow foot, forget it.
