I have previously owned 3 pairs of Moab 2 Wide Width and they were just fantastic. Super comfortable, stable, great grip, and wonderful good looks. All around great shoe for hiking and everyday wear. Now I own a pair of Moab 3 Wide and, although I don't know why they renamed it, it remains my shoe of choice and all the above apply.

I wear these shoes all the time, no other shoes are as comfortable. Over the years I must have worn out about ten pairs and keep renewing them. I also hike in the hiking boot version. I have very wide feet and Merrell have the size to fit me comfortably, not many shoes fit.

You asked where I went with my Moab 3 shoes. I live in a forest along the Pacific coast and wear them outside every day. With all this rain lately maybe should have gotten the water proof style, but it will stop raining shortly, so.... One thing that I should have asked for was an extra pair of shoe strings, seems they always wear out before the shoes. Local strings never seem to be up to the same standards. This happens to be my second pair and I love them. Good grip whether I am going uphill or down. Ankle support along with great arch support for going over rocky terrain, could not ask for better.

Comfortable, stable, true-to-size fit. Surprisingly light.

Still breaking in the Moab 3's to replace my 3 yr old pair of Moab 2's. So far they feel just as comfortable as previous pairs. I plan to take these on a walking/hiking trip to Germany and Switzerland this summer. If they are even close to my old pair in comfort and durability I will be happy. My old pair have about 3k miles on them with some miles left, hope the new ones are still as good.

Great fit, with perfect support and toe rise. Feels great on the foot!

I have had Plantar Fascistis (sp) for several months. I purchased MOAB Hiking shoes based on internet feedback. Am I glad I did! I've worn Rockport Pro-Walkers for years but MOAB offers superior support and have reduced my pain significantly.

Excited to buy the new Moab 3 wide mens hiking shoe after buying many pairs of the Moab 2 wide. Unfortunately Moab 3 is not nearly as wide as Moab 2. Super disappointed to have to return my purchase and find a new brand.

I love Merrell shoe..I have always worn Merrell and I am 80..

I like these better than the 2's. I have a narrow foot, and this pair does seem to fit me better. Short trek on one of our stare park trails as of right now, all was good. I squeezed two years out of my 2's, I expect no less from the Moab 3!

The wide width was too wide. The shoe flopped around on my feet. I bought the same shoe several years ago and it fit perfectly,not sure what happened

Outstanding shoes, comfortable but well designed, good traction and comfortable to wear all day.

Seem sturdy and comfortable so far. The real test will be how long they hold up, but they seem like a good deal

Best most comfortable durable trail shoes I own. Tread Tough Trail Ready. Out of the box comfort. I am so pleased with this purchase. I was afraid I would not be able to continue hiking because I could not find shoes with a wide fit. A fried recommended Merrells. I tried the Moab 3 and new instantly I had found the shoes for me.
