Not enough arch support, sole was too soft!

I bought these for my son, and he is very happy with the fit and styling. He finds them very comfortable.

Love these shoes. Very comfortable and sturdy. Bought them to hike in Breckenridge last summer and they performed well. Wish I had bought the waterproof version, and I will probably buy those, too. The shoes look good, fit well, and I think I'll have them a long time.

My husband loved these. He reports adequate support for his wide feet and overall comfort. I highly recommend these.

All my weight was on the heel, which felt like a boulder underneath. They slightly pronated my feet and the heel felt higher than the toe, giving a thrusted forward feel. Reviews say that this is a comfortable shoe but this was the most uncomfortable shoe I've ever tried. Appeared to be well made, so two stars. Of note, I have Merrell hiking boots which are very comfortable.

I wore out my previous pair and was delighted to find that I could still order a new pair.

I bought these for my husband. From the minute he put them on he loves them. He has ankle problems and said with the these shoes he has so much support. Not one complaint!

Bought these for a week long hiking trip in Greece. Not only did they hold up well, they're now my daily driver for sneakers almost a year later. No issues at all with durability. Happy I bought these.

Great shoe! This is my husband’s go to casual shoe. He wears for everything. Easy on and easy off. Great support. Look good with camo pants and jeans. True to size. No need to break in, comfortable from the first wear. This is his third pair.

This is my 3rd pair of Moab 3s (the others are boots, 1 GTX and the other water-resistant). These are very sturdy, supportive lace-ups with serious soles that resist slipping on anything. It's very hard for me to find shoes that fit (feet are wide in front, narrow in back, and right 1/2 size larger than left). These fit perfectly straight out of the box--which never happens. I'm recommending these to friends who also have trouble finding the right shoes.

Many hiking shoes/boots have a very snug fit, and (at least to me) require some degree of 'wearing-in'. These shoes just fit, and I can go on 10-mile hikes with them right away. Highly recommend.

shoe is good

This shoe has very narrow toe box, and felt 1/2 to 1 full size short. I wish Zappos would list EUR sizes. on the box this Moab 3 -Mens size 10M is listed as EUR 44.

I wanted a sturdy, rugged shoe for working in the yard and trekking in the mountains. The Moab 3's were the obvious answer. These were the first Merrell purchase of mine and I'm very impressed. The shoes are well constructed and show little wear after a fair bit of abuse. The sole feels very sturdy as it's nice and wide. There is ample grip yet decent-to-good flexibility. The shoe breathes well in hotter weather which is very important to me. Great shoe. Wish other companies made shoes this good.

Super comfortable, wear them every day for work, work on concrete floors.

This is probably my fourth pair of these shoes. They are excellent for daily wearing as well as for hiking and some challenging climbs. I usually get about 2 years of out of each pair. They usually fit me perfect but I would say this particular pair seems about a quarter size too large. My foot moves a little bit inside the shoe, which has not been the case with previous pairs.

This is my second pair of Moab's. The are great for hiking and are very long wearing. My first pair are still in really good shape. Great shoes!

Feet and side of knee began to hurt after walking around. Not a good sign.

I love these as an everyday shoe. Hiking, golfing, working out, anything... I love them.

Well made & will be good for hiking and long walks. Good for all day activities.

The Moab series has been my go-to hiking shoe for many years, and size 11 (medium width), has always fit me perfectly - I absolutely love them. I bought my first pair of Moab 3s about a year ago and noticed that the toe box felt a little snug. Last week, I ordered another pair in size 11 but had to return them because they were too small. I called Merrell customer support to ask if there was a reason for the tighter fit. While they didn’t provide a reason for the smaller fit, the rep did acknowledge that their Moab 3s fit smaller too. I’m not sure what’s causing this change, but I’m going to try a size 11.5 and see if that works better. Has anyone else noticed this issue?
