Shoes are pretty comfy and sturdy but the stitching on the toe is already fraying after only a week of light wear

I only wear Moab 3 footware. I own 4 low rise and 1 mid rise. (all different colors) I have fallen arches and no cartilage in one ankle. No other walking shoes have ever given me the arch support and cushion that Merrell shoes provide.

I work for a large landscape company on Long Island and on my feet 12-14 hrs daily. This is the best work shoe going if you don't have to wear work boots to work!

I haven't taken the 3 anywhere yet. In oct I will go to Oregon to chase down a bunch of waterfalls. I expect to hike 40 miles that week. My Moab 2's have hiked Glacier NP Highline trail.. and the trail to Avalanche lake.. Olympic NP Hurricane ridge trail.. around Mt St Helen's and Mt. Ranier trail. We also hiked Zion NP.. the overlook trail and Bryce Canyon. We also hike every Redwood park along the coast in Norcal. . Fern lake trail in RMNP.. Medicine Bow range in Wyoming.. Hiked Ruidoso.. white sands NP.. we did the incline in Manitou Springs.. we hiked up Mt Washington in NH.. and all around Acadia NP in Maine. My fav place was the Redwoods. We stayed in Trinidad Ca. and it was perfect weather.

As a walking tour guide I walk about 5 miles every day. I order new Moabs every couple of months - well over 40 pairs in the last several years. Generally, they have been consistent, but the last pair felt different - not quite as stable. The back top support broke down and became very flimsy. Overall, a good shoe, I'm just going to try a different brand and see what else I can find.

I wear my Merrells to do landscaping and around the house repairs. Lady pair lasted 5 years. I wear a wide width and these Moab3 run true to size. Very comfortable.

Bought these as a light-colored (Walnut), lighter weight alternative to the Merrell mid-height shoes I wear during winter months. These are much more suited to summer since Merrell doesnt make their water shoes in wide. And I cant wear anything thats not wide. My feet simply wont allow it. Fortunately, my favorite MOAB 3s come in a whole host of varieties. One to suit every season, place, and mood, it seems. And they ALWAYS fit me like a glove. My feet just love them. Each time I foolishly am tempted to try another brand, Im sorry. Immediately. And they wear out seemingly immediately. The damage to my feet considerable. So, at my age (70), Im buying nothing but Merrell MOAB 3s because there are literally NONE BETTER. Not for me. Not for my feet. And this old Marine learned that my feet come first long ago.

I have a pair of Moab 2 Wide with the right shoe separating between the sole and upper near the big toe. My prior pair of these shoes lasted until the soles were well worn. The current shoes have had relatively light use. Unfortunately, my good experience with prior Merrells caused me to fail to read their LIMITED warranty. The warranty is good for 1 (ONE) year. After that, TOO BAD FOR YOU! I spoke to customer service who confirmed TOO BAD FOR YOU without even checking to see if I lived in a State which restricts the use of 'limited warranties'. Lesson learned -- I'll move to a more reliable company.

Shoes fit great and were super comfortable right out of the box. After a day of wearing around the house to break-in, I took them on an Alaskan vacation and immediately logged some miles. No blisters or issues to speak of. Very happy with the shoes and will buy Merrell's again once these wear out.

I usually need a EE and these were more than generous in the toe box. Enough so that can use custom inserts with in them.

Bought these from cabelas a few weeks ago, after one difficult hike the tread is completely torn up and ruined. Multiple chunks of rubber are missing of the bottom of them. Even though these boots are for "rugged" climbs they failed me when I needed them most. Don't buy these if you intend on doing anything more than a walk I the park

Laces separated after 2 months. If you do not have a sales receipt, merrell will not help. Never had this problem with laces on other brands
