These shoes were comfortable and stable on cobblestone streets and hillsides in Cinque Terre, and kept my feet dry through heavy rain in Venice. One day I walked 7 miles on city streets and yes my feet were tired, but no blisters or calluses developed.

I use my Merrell Moab shoes walking my dog in Seattle. They are comfortable, provide stability, and keep my feet dry. Completely satisfied.

Excellent fit. Sturdy construction. Walking on air. Wondering why I waited so long to replace the old shoes (another brand). These Moab 3 let me know how worn out the old shoes are. Try on a pair of Moab 3. You'll be glad you did.

Great shoe. First time out did several hikes averaging 3 miles each- good stability, great traction, overall comfort level right out of the box very good.

the Merrell company and its products, the quality is not what it used to be, natural leather is rubber, they probably make these kind of shoes out of "clay and sticks", I wore my first Merell sneakers for 7 years, you upset us customers

It was very difficult to find a 13Wide in any variety/brand of hiking shoe. The shoe fits great and they are very comfortable

I bought these on advice from online threads for its wide toe box and great feel. I have wide feet and bought it in my size/w. They are amazing. I got them with the Appalachian trails in mind where I previously hiked and left limping with my feet beat up from the vertical rock pilings. I was actually concerned when unboxing that these would be too stiff and heavy to be effective. The shoe holds you in the heel cup and transfers well through steps. Going downhill you are secure and left with your toes free from the usual smashing that happens in most shoes with a weak mid upper and narrow toe. The vibram souls are great on wet asphalt, mossy rocks, damp logs, ice, and turf. Short of shoes with metal studs in the lugs these are the best thing you can find to offer secure footing. They are pleasantly light for all of the sole and tread and breathe really well. They handled the damp wonderfully. Comfort and capability in one package. Amazing value.

Wasn't sure if they could actually improve the Moab 2 as it was and still is a great boot/shoe. The good news is that they didn't screw up the Moab 3 in the update process now that Wolverine owns the brand. All of the great attributes of the Moab 2 are in the Moab 3. I do prefer the outsole tread design of the Moab 2, but the 3 works well thus far. We'll see how the new, more open lug design holds up over time wear-wise and durability-wise because the Moab 2 outsoles are very durable and long wearing. All in all, they didn't break something that worked and wasn't broken.

My third pair of Moabs. Still work great, except I need a bigger size now. 4 stars because they didn't have the color I wanted. Otherwise, 5 stars.

I've been buy Merrell Moab shoes for several years, and for some reason, these did not fit, even though they were 12M. Also, one pair was exchanged because of a stitching issue with one of the shoes.

I'm happy with mine. It's actually my third pair. But I convinced my wife to get a pair, and hers squeak, constantly. No help from Merrell with this problem so while at least my shoes are good, Merrell customer service not so much...

Love the Moab 3rd pair in 5 years. I wear them every day at work and most weekends. They fit great and are comfortable. Have noticed the upper part of the shoe doesn't last as long as it once did. Also don't seam to be able to find them in my favorite color combination(butternut/beluga) any more.

I have had multiple pairs of the Merrell Moab 3's. They are a sturdy, comfortable and well made shoe that wears well. I usually add a pair of insoles to these shoes as they are a little wide for my foot. The insoles are from a shoe store not just a foam insole. After I wear them for walking and everyday wear, I retire them to do yard work in and start another new pair for walking and everyday wear. My first pair Merrell's were a high top similar to this shoe. I also have had a similar Merrell that was waterproof. I have found that this style works best and try to keep a pair or two extra in case Merrell stops making this Moab 3.

these are great for walking and hiking. these are my fifth pair. I like them most because of the firm sole and elevated toe which means less pain in my toe joints. Also I find these have the best fit available with the wide toe box and because the instep fits better than many of the other competitor shoes. I also like that these are ventilated and my feet don't get wet from sweat (they aren't waterproof - I have another pair that I use if I need that.)

Bought these to replace an older pair of Moabs and so far, these are as good as the others. Let's hope these last as long as my previous pair.
