I was looking forward to my new Merrells but they never arrived.

Soo , right when I put then on I knew I would love them!

Very comfortable to wear all day. Great support and comfort in one shoe. I would highly recommend.

These hikers fit me like a glove, no break in period required. They are likely best suited to wearing in cooler temperatures as they seem quite warm. They have excellent treads and seem very sturdy. These are initial impressions as I have only worn them a few times so far.

Love these shoes. I have multiple pairs and they work great for all my activities. I'm already planning to use them for my first Camino next summer because they are so comfortable.

There was another reviewer who found the size 8 seemed larger than previously ordered Merrells, and the arch was too far back. When I first put these on, I would have said I agree. However, I wore them a couple times on longer 5 - 6 km walks, and they seemed to mold perfectly to my feet. I am really liking the fit now. Really sturdy well made shoes!

These shoes are heavier/bigger than regular athletic shoes, but they are strong and stable. They are my go-to shoes. I use them for almost everything. I'm in my late 30's and my feet/calves hurt if I'm not wearing the right shoes/getting enough arch support. I do add insoles for extra comfort/support. I workout in these shoes too. It adds extra weight and works my muscles, to strengthen them even more. I like these better than any other shoes I've tried.

Comfort from the first step! I read extensive reviews before purchasing and they were right. These are great right out of the box, no long break in period needed! This was great as my first use was hiking in Costa Rica and it handled the rugged conditions there no sweat! They seem well made, like my Merrell sandals...keep up the good work Merrell!

I haven't had them for long but they fit to size. I use orthotics and they slip in well.

Great shoes! I've been wearing the MOABs for years. Hard to beat the quality/durability for the money. I wore my last pair for nearly 5 years. I replaced the insoles and laces a few times, but the shoes kept kicking! My new pair looks great and wears great. Customer service is top notch!

Very good shoes! I've been buying these same shoes for my husband for years! He says they're super comfortable and durable.

Mohab3's provide my feet with a mostly pain free work day on my feet

Used Moabs for last 15 years. Love them. The Moab 3 is supposed to have better cushioning and by golly it feels like it does!

Comfortable, feel sturdy. Look good. This is my second pair and I will be buying another when these start to fade. I usually wear a 10 or 10.5 Bought the 10.5 and fit perfectly.

Size ordered (wide width 10.5) perfect. Soles grip ice well. Thickly padded.

This is a great walking/hiking shoe right out of the box. I have all sorts of foot problems - bunions, Morton's neuroma, bone spurs on the tops of my feet - and I'm able to avoid all of them when walking in this shoe. My only wish is that it was waterproof. Went for a walk in a downpour the other day and water got in at the top of the shoe. Guess I'll have to try the GoreTex version, but the reviews say that shoe is more narrow than this one.

I have challenging feet to fit and this shoe has worked for years. I hope that Merrell contiures to make them.

The support of the shoe is great for me, and the shoe feels great to up to the time I buy a new pair. The recent pair I bought is my 8th pair. I wear thes shoes probably five days out of the week and use them for up to 2.5 years. I am sold on this shoe and the consistency of its quality. Verne Jones 12/12/23

I am very happy with the product so far. Ive been on 3 hikes and they were comfortable right out of the box. Merrell gave me 30% off for my prior pair of hiking shoes which were defective and I was very pleased with that ,however, when I placed the new order, the salesperson told me in addition to the 30% off, Merrell was going to give me $20 more dollars back on my credit card after a few weeks. Its been over a month so I called customer service thinking it may have been an oversight on their part however the person I talked to said there was no record of the $20 and that it was a new employee and they were wrong in promising me that. I thought Merrell would honor that mistake and correct it with their employees but got no satisfaction. I was so happy that a company now of days stood behind their product. It is very rare but to be told one thing and not follow through with that promise is not real good practice.

These are a little stiffer than Moab two, but I like them just the same

Honestly, when you're overweight and you wanna walk in the mountains, this is the shoe.
