I bought these 4 months ago. They are extremely comfortable along with the $75 insoles. So to have a $200 pair of hiking shoes that the sole is separated from the shoe is very disappointing. Would not suggest if you are expecting them to last!

These shoes were purchased because they were lightweight and NON waterproof and make multiple trips to the garden and never hit a trail. they have helped reduce my heel pain, Happy with the boots

Always great quality shoes. I have ankle damage and the higher ankle profile provides the extra support I need. They come with mild arch support but I do add a carbon fiber orthotic or a gel arch insole and its great.

Several years ago I got fed up with the "wide toed" women's boot options and wandered to the men's section to find something suitable. My first pair of Moab 3 mids carried me through a field season in the eastern US and two in northern CA (~1150 working hours), before finally succumbing to the environment and disintegrating into a pile of leather and thread. I've just ordered a second pair, which is the best recommendation I can give. My /only/ complaints with the Moab are inherent to the style of shoe - the mesh lets in water and the low ankle lets in debris. The latter is fixed by ankle gaiters, and the former is just the price you pay for your feet not sweating.

Exceptionally comfy right out of the box, making fear of sore feet & blisters nearly evaporate.

This is atleast the 10th pair of these shoes that I have bought. Every pair has been perfect right out of the box and they hold up very well. This pair is not the most comfortable but I will still give them a very good rating. After you buy the shoes be prepared to get coupons in the mail which offer 20%-25% off on your next purchase which are valid for everything except this style of shoe. It would be nice if the deal could be used for this style of shoe as well as everything else.

Most comfortable boot! I sized up 1/2 size and a wide width. Accommodated an iniji toe sock and a darn tough sock. Zero blisters on 3 Camino de Santiagos. For awkward wide feet these were the best!

My husband and I both got a pair for a trip to Sedona. We have wide feet and were amazed at how comfortable these were and how stable we felt while hiking! They look nice, great fit and well constructed .

The shoes are very roomy. I tend toward wider shoes, but the regular of these were ample.

I owned a similar pair from Merrell that I purchased in 2007. I've been wearing that pair hiking in Michigan with a few trips to the mountains out west. I figured if a pair of Merrell boots was that comfortable and last that long, then I needed to buy another pair for my next set, and these Moabs didn't disappoint!

Good comfortable shoe with reasonably good ankle support. I first purchased these in a shop in Williams Arizon when the conditions were icy and there was some snow. These boots held up pretty well for those conditions. Good traction and warmth. They are NOT waterproof but resistant to an extent. I have had weak ankles for years and always look to a good shoe to support my ankles...these are it.

This shoe is slightly stiffer than the old Moab 2 - still a great boot but you will need to break it in before any serious hiking.

This boot grabs your foot and just 'fits'. I absolutely love the comfort, stability, and function of this boot. I travel alot for business and so I needed something I could rely on for northern winter travel yet was comfortable (and stylish) enough to fit my khaki and polo business vibe. This boot in all black fits the bill perfectly! I just came home from Denver, CO and about 9" of snow... simply getting out of the hotel to my car would have been a bit treacherous without such a reliable piece of footwear. Well done once again, Merrell. Well done!

I only had these boots long enough to try them on then put them back in the box for a return. But while I had them on they felt extremely comfortable with the exception that they weren't quite long enough for my big feet. The toe box was very wide and comfortable, but I needed more length so that my toes were rubbing up against the tip of the shoe. I guess I wear a larger hiking boot than I do a dress shoe. Oh well, I live and I learn.

This is my 4th pair of Merrell Moab and my first Mid high. I walked the souls off two of those. The Moab 3 Mid fits like it was custom made for my feet. They are my daily wear go to shoes. AS a mountain bike rider I want great outdoor shoes that can handle the places I go to ride. I never know when I may want to hike instead of ride. Fitment is outstanding Very comfortable Great traction on the Vibram soles. Plus really great color! What is not to love> They are the best I have had!
