I bought this for my boyfriend who is tall. He has issues finding pullovers that aren't too short. I ordered this in a tall medium and fits great! It is casual enough to wear everyday but nice enough to wear for other occasions. The only thing that I would change is that the collar tends to pop up quite often.

Regarding the product, I'd have expected more for (a) an $80 quarter-zip and (b) out of LLBean. I expect LLBean products to be of superior quality and this quarter-zip just isn't. Firstly, it doesn't even zip--it has snaps on the front and the snaps are PLASTIC. Really, LLBean? Plastic? The color also isn't true (I ordered mustard) as there is a bunch of black mottled into it. Also, I ordered this based on an email from LLBean proclaiming "Up to 50% Off" on winter wear. I got about 10% off of this item and, of the 5-6 colors available, only the mustard was on sale. I understand it was my decision to buy it but the marketing felt a bid disingenuous--again, not the LLBean standard (I hope--maybe they've changed). Also, I received this in a plastic bag in a plastic bag. When are retailers going to be more environmentally conscious? Maybe I need to start buying at brick and mortar again. All-in, it's an okay product/experience but I don't expect "just okay" from LLBean--I expect more.

Got this for my husband as a gift. He LOVES it. Thinks it's super classy, the piping is high-end, the cut and fit are excellent. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is the LLBean logo on the front--it takes this sweater from being business casual to just casual. In other words, b/c of the logo, he can't really use it for 'casual dress' occasions. Perhaps you'd be willing to remove it on future iterations? Thank you!

ORDER UP. THE SWEATER WAS TOO SHORT. COULD SEE IT WAS TOO SHORT WHEN I TOOK IT OUT OF THE PACKAGE. HAD TO EXCHANGE FOR LARGER SIZE.

I use this pullover as a shirt on really cold winter days. It's nice, thick and warm. My only complaint is that there's no stitching along the top of the front pocket, so the pocket keep sagging down. L.l.Bean, if you guys could please stitch the top of the front pocket to the outside of the shirt that would solve the problem I think. Thanks.

Excellent quality. Price a little higher than it should be. We'll see how it wears over time.

Soft and fit very well except sleeves are a little long but can roll them up, no problem. Would definitely buy again

I get medium in jacketsbecause if I get an L they're too big. Only thing I wish was if this jacket was a little longer that's it tho everything else about this sweater is great. Really love the middle pocket!

My husband prefers things a little roomy and almost always wears an extra large. This was much too large in the shoulders and arms. I returned it in the store for a size large and that is much better.

I have this one and one I bought previously. I use it to layer on very cold days in the northwest. I have lighter fleece I use on warmer days. The fit for me is perfect. My only complaint is no cell phone pocket, if I put the phone in the kangaroo pocket the garnet sags and its uncomfortable. I'm not sure as the garnet ages it will hold its shape and etc.. time will tell. I have much older LL Bean fleece I prefer.. but it can't adequately be replaced with the newer products.

The garnet was / is terrific ... good quality ... good fabric ... BUT - not a good fit. I have worn XLarge for decades ... the L. L. Bean X Larg is just to large. Changed the next order to L and all is well!!

I've had several fleece pull overs in the past they were always fine.Ive gotten a lot of use from them but this sweater fleece is even better, warmer, very comfortable worth the extra cost as I'm getting more use from this apparel.

Plenty of room and length. Only negative is the collar is too tall and button snaps are a little difficult to snap

Beautiful but slightly large. My husband kept it for fear that the Medium would be to small.

The collar is so big that it doesn't sit flat when open, but curls up, which is annoying. Apart from that, it's warm and soft. Would have appreciated zippers on the kangaroo pocket, as there used to be.

This is a Christmas present for my son.

Overall very happy with the product. Was true to size. Not real crazy about the kangaroo pouch pocket - preferred the old style individual front pockets. Makes the jacket a bit too bulky in the stomach area. Would be fine if you had a beer belly but I don't.

The jacket is very nice looking and fits well. Overall I am very pleased. I would have given it 5 stars if the pocket design was more traditional. As others have said, the kangaroo style front pocket/pouch would be better if it were two separate pockets.

This fleece is a great weight and great fit. The biggest issue is the front pocket. Since there isn't any stitching holding it up it will sag below the sweater. It's not a huge deal but looks sloppy and is annoying to readjust the pocket liner through out the day

Very nice fleece sweater. Good looking and very comfortable. The sleeves do run a little long, so be a little careful if ordering a long. You may find the sleeves are too long. The only issue is with the front pocket. It is not attached at the top other than on the sides and has a tendency to sag in front so low that it shows below the front hem line. I believe if the pocket had been sewn all the way across at the top, this issue would have been prevented.

High quality fleece fabric that is warm without being stuffy. Two minor details would improve its utility greatly: a 1/4 length zipper instead of snaps and elastic around the bottom to keep wind and cold out.

It's a nice looking pullover but was a bit snug. Ll Bean has has need their sizing folks.

I agree with the previous writer about a pocket problem. When I place anything in the pocket it droops down below the hem. I'll hold off on purchasing other colors until this is fixed. I also recommend tightening the trim around the bottom for a more stylish look. Other than these concerns, it's warm and comfortable and true to size. I love it!!
