beautiful fabric and style, cut too loosely/big and I'm far from skinny, no waist adjustment, therefore not good for athletics in cold.

I bought a blue one (grey trim) for my husband for Christmas since he gets chilly in the house during the winter when I'm already too warm. I bought myself one of these sweater fleece pullovers a year or so ago and loved it for outside chores/errands in our damp Missouri winters (great with a t-shirt or turtle neck underneath). His review? The only reason he doesn't give it a 5 is the kangaroo pouch front pocket. Although I love mine, he'd prefer 2 regular pockets. Overall, these are very well made, quite warm and classy!

Fits well - material well constructed, but is not as soft as expected; repeated washings may help. Pockets are really one extended "kangaroo pouch" not individual pockets. Something to be aware of in purchasing; not a plus or minus.

Well made, color as described, returned for smaller size. Arms were a little bulky. Waiting on return.

Very warm but sleeves are a bit long so I have to roll them up--minor issue.

I'm 6ft tall 195# bought a size XL tall arms are long body fit is loose to wear items underneath.

Wonderful quality, but the tall runs taller than other LL Bean men's tall items.

It is Form fitting and a thin fleece but still warm.

Overall, I think this is going to be a great pullover. It didn't get five stars because I'm not fond of kangaroo pockets - they add bulk where I absolutely don't need it. I would have preferred a vertically zippered breast pocket. I also think your embroidered L. L. Bean logo is much classier than the logo used on this pullover. Years ago, you included descriptions of the relative warmth of garments like these, e.g. warm, warmer, warmest. I found that very helpful, especially when shopping online. I ordered two of these pullovers online and was dismayed when you offered a 10% discount for all online orders just a few days later. (:

While some other LL Bean tops seem to run large, these are true to size. I had to return because I had sized down, expecting the same trend in oversized fit. My husband is 6'2" and 235lbs; he definitely needed an XL. The fabric is a thick, cozy fleece of excellent quality.

I like the red color. This garmet is definitely warm. I have a 42" chest and the "large" size was to big and I had to reorder a medium - which fits. To improve it I would like to have a zippered Nepolian pocket and a zippered placket. Otherwise - it an excellent winter sweater.

Excellent fit; very warm; Neat front pocket that connects the side pockets. However, as a fleece pullover it is very hard to put on and take off. Also, I assumed it had a zipper, but no, it has snaps at the neck that are a bit hard to close.

Good sweater fleece over all. Good quality but fit is pretty loose. Im 6'2 and 190lbs. The large fits good in the sleeves but the middle has way to much room. The material just isn't quite up to par with a Padagonia. It's a tad lighter material but noticeable.

Warm, true to size, and durable. Held back one star because the front pocket sags inside and sags below the bottom of the sweater.

It's a good product, nicely made, but too long for my build.

I bought this for my daughter who loves it in blue. I bought this one in red for a grandson in northern NY at college - a very frigid place. Unfortunately I have not heard from him.. I got a pair of slippers from my husband for Christmas, returned them for being too small and have not yet received a new pair. I hope they are coming because it's been REALLY cold around here! The sweater is very nice.

This was a gift for my brother. The first sweater arrived damaged. They quickly replaced it with a new one . It is a great looking sweater and fits beautifully. It is a different color than the original order but it is a beautiful wine color so all is well. It is perfect for chilly weather.

Inside of sleeves are grabby when putting on over another shirt.

This was very expensive, if not overpriced. If I did not get this for Christmas I would never have bought it for myself

My husband has four of these, says they are the warmest, lives in them all winter, just loves them. But, they pill after one washing. It doesn't bother him. Only me.

Loved it but sleeve length was too long and overall length too short. I am 5' 10". It felt warm and love the pockets.

Overall, it look and feels like something I might have bought in Chile last year in Santiago. The pouch is less fitted, maybe too loose, with my cell in looks like I'm pregnant. If ya'll are going to brand everything with LLBEAN, so prominent and bright will there be discounts for advertising your products? Two or three people have commented on buying at 'Bean?

My Son loved his fleece pullover, but had outgrown his boys XL. He is happy to have this warm piece again as the temperature drops. Our only issue is that he is a tall lanky teen and the mens small sleeve is barely at his wrist , but the mens medium is just way to bulky for him. Please consider making this in small TALL and we would surely continue to purchase this item.
