I bought this for my carpenter son who doesnt like wearing a coat. He says he is warm and toasty while working outside when wearing a vest. He likes it just as much as the Fishermans sweater from Ireland.

This the classic sweater. First, it is well-madeit will wear well for years. This my second in thirty years! The fit is always perfect for a sweater that I wear three seasons of every year. It also goes with every other thing one might wear. LL Bean keeps me cozy.

I enjoy wearing this sweater, a gift from my wife. The bright color is great on a cloudy day and it's warm and comfortable in cooler weather. My only complaint is a flaw woven into the body of the sweater. This is rare with LLBean and disappointing. For now, I am otherwise very satisfied and will continue to enjoy this item.

I love this sweater, I bought mine in natural and it goes with almost everything. My one complaint is that since it is wool it isnt as soft as I would like so under some jackets the collar can irritate the back of my neck. On its own without a jacket I am perfectly comfortable in 40-50 degree weather.

Nice looking and good fit, warm sweater. So nice to have a sweater made for tall man. I am 62 and 175 lbs snd the medium tall fits perfectly.

Ok, If you want a durable, good looking wool sweater this is it! My husband has the same exact L.L. Bean wool sweater bought 20 years ago and it is amazing how well the sweater has held up with heavy use. I throw it in the washing machine and it comes out like new. I bought the new one for a backup. Sincerely, this sweater is a work horse and is very much worth the price.

I bought this sweater for my husband and he just loves it. He said it is so warm and not scratchy at all. I got him and x-large, regular and it fit him perfectly. So sorry to see it is so back ordered. Our son-in-law really liked it too!!

I bought this sweater for my son (20), partly out of nostalgia ... we all wore them in the 80s. Thankfully and somewhat to my surprise, my son loves it just as much or more.

This is the classic sweater! It fits great, true to size and looks great!

Its too early to rate this sweater well, it is new and hasn't been 'field tested' yet. The tag says it is lambs wool, but if it is, it is some of the coarsest lambs wool I have seen. But it isn't terribly rough wool either, it is comfortable against the skin. And it is a thick, well fitting, nice looking sweater. We will see how durable it is, but wool sweaters usually last.

I had a Beans classic rag wool sweater many years ago and when I recently wanted to add a warm sweater to my wardrobe this is what came to mind. The classic fit warmth and style is just as I remembered. What a great purchase.

Ordered two sweaters one was received. The other was bot available. But LL Bean charged both sweaters on my credit card. O credit issued as of yet for the second sweater. Will notify the cc card company for refund!-. Very dissatisfied!

Beans mens raggwool crewneck sweater is perfect for both men and women. I inherited one from my dad, in size small, and in a beautiful Heather blue color made in Scotland. Ive worn it for years, and will continue to enjoy it. I am a woman and order size small. I love wearing it underneath my LL Bean Three Season Jacket. It is wonderfully warm and comfortable. I bought this sweater in rust orange. It is a beautiful color, especially in the autumn!
