The sweater fit perfectly, it is warm just what I wanted for these New England winters. I would purchase the sweater again.

I've been buying Bean sweaters lately bc I know they'll last me decades. A classic design doesn't fall prey to fashion trends. I'm not a fan of disposable clothes. This is a great looking sweater. Warm and I know with decent care if will last.

This is the first wool sweater I have purchased as an adult. I am 185 lbs at 5'10" and usually wear L in shirts. The L here fits nicely - definitely not tight but not baggy at all. The wool seems to be a somewhat loose knit, but it's warm and not itchy to me. The weight seems to be on the thicker side, which is what I wanted. I have noticed a little bit of pilling, but this might be the nature of the material. I am removing the pills when I notice them, and they seem to be reducing in number. I got the "light saddle" color. It's a little more orange-y than it seems in the photos, but I like it. If I were to choose again though, I might go with "natural" or "charcoal" color for ease of matching with other clothes. I have been enjoying this one during long remote work days in the cold winter months this season. Hopefully it will last a while if properly taken care of.

This is, in my opinion, the perfect sweater. It is warm but not "hot" indoors. It is casual, but can easily be worn with more dressy clothes. The color is perfect in terms of matching with a broad array of other clothes. I simply love it thanks to the typical LL Bean quality.

Classic and perfect. It's roomy and good for layering. I'm 6' 210lbs took a Large. No regrets. Prob could've sized down if I wanted it fitter - but this ain't that kind of party. Extremely warm and comfortable. 10/10

Warm, woolly, warm sweater. Does just what it is intended to do. Tall size for sleeve length. It can be shrunk easily. Nice, utility piece.

I finally had to order a newah hemsize. It was hard to give away that last sweater, but I was thrilled with my new one. It is still one of my favorite layering sweaters. There is nothing like this on top of a flannel to take the bite out of the wind.

This sturdy wool sweater is exactly what my son wanted. He lives in Northern Canada and spends a lot of time outside. He can wear this for warmth and also for a casual professional look.

I ordered one for my husband and one for my father-in-law and both were perfect. They fit nicely and looked good on them, unlike some sweaters I've bought in the past.

I love these wool sweaters. They are very affordable. However, I do have to purchase men's small because there is nothing comparable to this style in women's. Also, the sweaters that I just purchased ran a bit larger that the ones I purchased 3 or 4 years ago. But overall, warm and perfect for the below zero weather we have been having.

This sweater is perfect! My 6'2" husband loves it - the Tall option made for a great, comfie fit. And it's a beautiful, unique color!

This sweater is really fantastic. It's a roomy large, which I was expecting, but it's absolutely perfect after I shrank it a bit and resized it by letting it dry on a towel on my bed. I bought 1 to test out, and it's awesome, so I bought two more. Shrinking it up a little helped make the knitting and neckline a little tighter, too.

Excellent Sweater. Reasonably thick. So far so good. Would be even better if made in US. I'd pay more - LL Bean - are you listening?

1st 2, brown & rust colors, still wearing and are 20 plus years old. also beige blue & forest green are 5 years plus. looking to catch a blue/green (teal) color but keep missing out on size
