Once you've had one ragg wool garment you want others: mittens, sweaters, stocking cap. I asked for this sweater last Christmas, but Santa brought a substitute. So, I made sure I'd have it this year by presenting it to myself. Love the weight, the feel, comfort and warmth. Highly recommend.

I love that LL Bean carries tall! I bought this for my husband. He is 6'5" with long arms and it fits him perfectly. He is consistently an XL Tall in all LL Bean clothes I have bought. I bought him two of these sweaters - the red and grey colors. He's worn both multiple times and they look just as pictured.

This is a well crafted sweater for any guy who like a woolen garment. My husband loves it. Reminds him a sweaters he wore in college. Thanks LL Bean you never let us down.

This is my second Ragg Wool Sweater in two years. I love the warm fabric, especially on windy-blustery days. My main use is when I wear a kilt, which is 2-3 times a week. Both sweaters are comfortable and fit well. Nice addition to my wardrobe. I would recommend these for anyone wanting a comfortable and warm sweater, especially in the winter or fall.

Classic LL Bean styling and price. Nothing fancy, just a well made sweater that will be in style for years to come. I do agree with the other reviews...LL Bean sizing tends to run large. Between two sizes? Go smaller.

The med size was spot on: I fall between a small and medium so I took a chance but it didn't fit. Has a heavy weighty feel with a thick weave to the fabric. Its also rather bulky so if traveling its going to take up a lot of space. It has a classic look to it so would look good just about anywhere. A little scratchy but it is wool you know.

LL Bean "tall" is quite tall, so I returned it for a regular. The finish on both is excellent and the regular XL fits perfectly.

Excellent fit and quality (I am often an XL but large was perfect fit for this sweater). Well made and thick. Comfortable wool. Very pleased.

A great natural wool sweater with some heft to keep you warm on a winter's day.

The tall fit is excellent, as a 6'2" 170 lbs person this is a great fit and quality. I believe this will be a key element in my wardrobe for seasons to come.

Best sweater I've ever owned. It's extremely warm. I live in an area with constant cold wind from the ocean. This is a nice piece of kit.
