It's definitely heavy weight but also very soft and comfy. I decided to size down because of other reviews saying it ran large and I'm glad I did. At 5'7" 165lbs I'm a medium in 99% of clothes but the Small fit me perfectly.

Good sweater. Well made. Runs a little big. Size down if you like a slim fit. Sleeves are particularly baggy.

Looks great, fits well, the fabric is not very comfortable though, I guess it is not an expensive item, but I would expect it to be a bit more comfortable.

Great fitting sweater. Consistent color and netting. Just one small knot out of place. Otherwise it's perfect. Very happy with purchase.

Nice weight, very soft. The Large was a little on the large side but a Medium would have been too small. Still a good fit.

I normally wear an xl sweater. This sweater in an XL was gigantic, so I returned it for a large. The large is even very, very bulky...and long.

Just received my indigo sweater. Much darker than the pic. I typically wear xl sweaters, don't even mind if they are tad large ... but this is like an xxl -- it is huge. Go down a size from what you normally wear.

This is a marvelous sweater. You fall in love with the first time you put it on. I was in love for the entirety of the first time I had the opportunity to wear it, but that's the only opportunity I had to wear it, unfortunately. The first issue, it snags on absolutely everything and anything, which is fine, the snags are fixable by stretching the knitting in the area around the snag. But after the first wash, being the only individual item in the machine on delicate, tore a dime sized hole where the neck knitting meets the torso. It was heartbreaking to see, I was extremely excited to wear this all winter, but now I'm just hoping they accept the return.

Heavier, bulkier than described. Will not wear it as I expected to use it. May hand it off to someone else.

Great sweater but did shrink quite a bit. If you plan on drying in the dryer, you may want to go one size up.

Recently purchased this sweater and am afraid that I am only going to get a few uses out of it. I washed it according to the instructions and have purchased mediums in the past at LLB. However, it shrunk significantly

Unfortunately it was returned. Color was not as pictured. It is not brown but a deep red.

Quality is great, nice and heavy, great texture. Sweaters shouldn't be very form fitting but should at least give you a decent shape though. Fit is likely better for a guy who is a little on the bigger size around the middle. This sweater would be perfect if they had a slightly more athletic cut.

Beautiful, well made sweater. Ordered the sweater according to the recommended size chart. Sweater is extremely too large. Will gift to someone much larger than myself.

The sweater is a nice weight and fits properly. I'd be happier if the neck was a bit higher like an old J Crew sweater that I have, and the sweater was a bit more form-fitting.

Great Quality. I always wear large in everything I buy, but this just fit too big. Its a great looking sweater with good weight to it. Probably should have gotten a smaller size, but in the end I stepped out of my comfort zone buying a sweater.

I love this sweater. In blue, it goes great with jeans. However, after less than a year, the rolled collar is coming undone from the body of the sweater. Since it's unravelling, it cannot be repaired (in any way I know how). No matter how I launder it, it will come completely undone.

Stitching and fabric are both first rate. BUT the sizing is way off. I wear a size L. I am up to a 2X and even that is tight. Yes if you're wondering, same size me...

LL Bean quality of products has definitely decreased. Sent this item back.

Rough feeling. I thought it would be soft to the touch. Had I known I wouldn't have bought it.
