Love this woven cotton sweater. I am wearing it right now. Feels great. Warm but breathable.

I am not one to wear scratchy sweaters made of wool or even cashmere blends with cotton. So, this sweater is perfect because the cotton is extremely soft and the heavy weight of it requires a simple t-shirt underneath to provide comfort and warmth. I'm ecstatic that I bought two of them. Now if LL Bean can make the exact same sweater with just a crew neck or v-neck I would buy at least one of each. Highly recommend if you're looking for a casual, comfortable, cozy, warm sweater!

Received mine yesterday. I went with the dark olive. Great color. I'm wearing it today. It's nice and warm. The weight is good. Fits nearly perfectly. Because it's so new, I can't comment on whether it will stand up over the long term, but it feels like it's well-constructed. Haven't washed it yet, but I'm sure as long as the instructions are followed (machine wash, cold, gentle and dry flat) things should be fine. I've used Bean products for years and have seldom been disappointed.

Another great product from LL Bean that is great during the cold weather. I had NO sweaters and looking through the L L Bean catalog or/& on web site, I find just what I want. I've got 5-6 shoes from LL Bean, only product I've not checked out are jeans from them. Anyway sorry I did not stick just to the sweater and rambled a little. GREAT PRODUCTS

As always the fit and quality of any LLBEAN product is superb.The sweater is beautiful.

Great sweater. My one complaint is that the medium tall size does not feel very "tall." I'm 6'3" which is not crazy tall, but this rides up a little bit to where I have to tug it down occasionally. The sleeves are a PRETTY good length, but they don't leave any extra room. Most Bean tall gear sits just a little longer. I could use an extra inch on all dimensions here. Still looks great and I get compliments, so I wouldn't hesitate to purchase unless you're taller than I am.

Warm, and looks great. Length in TALL size was a bit longer than my husband expected, but pur dryer will take care of that!

This is a good mid-weight sweater. It looks classy and will keep you warm on a chilly day, but don't rely on it as your only warm layer on a day below freezing. I'm looking forward to wearing it with short sleeves underneath inside in the summer. Only con - don't trust the shipping! This arrived a week after I expected it.

I have had this sweater several weeks now and like it a lot. The Dark Cinder color is lovely. The fit was good (medium tall) at first but the sweater stretched out quite a bit. So I washed it and observed that it was supposed to be air dried. It had gotten even larger when wet. I put it in a warm (not hot) dryer for 10 minutes to see if something terrible would happen. It did not. Did 10 more minutes. Showing some "return to original shape/size" so I gradually dried it even more - checking regularly. Just short of VERY DRY, it had returned to the right size. I air dried it the rest of the way. I saw very little lint from this operation so it doesn't seem to have damaged the fibers. What's the deal?

Originally bought a medium but that was super tight which is unusual for LL Bean as I find sizing run big. It also came with no tags so it's possible this was worn and washed and returned. The Large fit much better and I love it.

I had one of these years ago and wanted a replacement. Just what I needed for the winter and fall. I got an XL but I wish it was a touch bigger as I like my sweaters to have room.

This gift for my husband is beautiful and has a very comfortable feel. He hasn't had a chance to wear it yet, but he loves the color and softness. The only concern is that it seems to have gotten a little smaller after washing as directed, but it will still work.

I'll give it an ok. It is a little heavy and not the style I was looking for. Fit is ok, base on other purchases of the same size. I thought it was the original waffle knit crew neck. I'll keep it for now..

I was extremely satisfied with the Zappos service. The fit of the sweater was a smidgen tight but still a fine purchasing experience because of Zappos.

Cozy sweater, the color was lighter than the photos though. It is definitely more of a light blue vs a mid/dark blue. Has a bit of that early 90's style color pattern to it as well.

Fits very well. Heavy and warm without weighing me down. The collar is very comfortable, and doesnt rub against my neck. Glad I bought it.

This is a very comfortable, warm, thick sweater. The denim color goes great with jeans. I like the generous sleeve length and shoulder width.
