This is a beautiful robe, but it runs large. I bought it as a gift for my son-in-law and it had to be returned! The color was gorgeous!

Thick and luxe and my son loves it. Like the reviews state, it runs rather large.

Comfy and soft. A good heavy warm robe. Down sidethe sleeves were way too long and had to be altered. Also the lapel has significantly "fuzzed up" which my husband says is because his beard roughed it up. Overall he keeps saying how much he loves it.

Nice warm heavy robe. A little on the scratchy side but a few more washings should take care of that. Sizing was accurate

Very nice robe and the Burgundy color is as it appears on the website. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the threads at the butt started coming loose and separating after two weeks.

It's nice and warm, and I like it overall. I ordered a medium men's, and it was too big. So I replaced it with a men's small, which is still a bit big. I am five feet eight inches, and not an extra small person. Also the color is darker than advertised, so the navy blue is not as nice as in the photo.

Larger than I expected but excellent quality. I've worn it every day with no complaints.

Runs big with very little shrinkage. Well made. I'd buy it again but smaller, medium.

I've been looking for a replacement for my 35 yo robe that finally fell apart. I've been looking for a new robe for quite a while s and couldn't find anything that came near in quality to it. I finally found this robe. The terry is decently thick and absorbent; works great after my shower. It's pretty soft. The robe itself is well made and the quality of the fabric seems good. For me the length is good and there's plenty of width to wrap around my body. I really wish it had a hood or cowl.

I had hoped this would be a little thinner and lighter-weight. I was getting this for my son who is moving into a college dorm. He's never had a robe before. This seemed a bit overwhelming. It's not fluffy or girlie, just heavy and thick.

I really like this robe, nice soft feel. My only quibble would be that I wish it had a pocket up at chest level, but it does have two side pockets. Need a place for reading glasses.

Amazing robe for my husband! I ordered a large because the reviews said it ran big.Normally he wears an extra large. The large fit perfect! He is enjoying it!

Soft, warm, heavy. Wish it came in tall but adequate sleeve length. Seems well made.

It doesn't come in Tall sizes so the sleeves are too short.

It's heavy and hot but nice if you're in Alaska. Runs big. My hub looks like a prize fighter in it. Lol. But we're in Az. I bought a large.

Not made as well as expected. Very raggedy seams. Had to take a scissor to them. Weight of terry cloth good but not the quality I expected from LL Bean.

My husband loves the robe. Perfect color, right size & fit. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the material/weave is shabby and if caught on something will pull thread out. So now, only with a week of wear, it looks like its been months!! because of the threads pulled out all over.

The robe runs large and 2XX was too big for my husband. Since it was monogrammed, I can't return it. It's a beautiful robe and I hope he still wears it.

It's very well made and substantial. The only complaint I have is that it is so substantial and well made that it is very heavy.

It's a little lighter-weight and a couple of inches shorter than I expected, but it's comfortable. I'd recommend it, but not for REALLY cold weather.

I've been shopping LL Bean for several years, this robe many times as well, but this time I was disappointed, the fabric is much thinner than previous years.
