Very plush. I look forward to wearing it this winter. Love the color.

my husband owned this robe for years and it was his favorite. It finally wore out this year (Probably at least 20 yrs old, if not more, though he didn't wear it every day) I tired a few other robes that were cheaper, but came back to this one. The fabric is high quality and the fit is perfect. It withstood the first wash beautifully. the sewing is well done and I see no weak seams. the collar is not too thick, which could be an issue for him. If this ever wears out I will order another without second thought. may order an extra now as well.

I birthday gifted this robe to my "significant other" as a replacement. His LLBean white terrycloth robe was completely worn through after decades of daily use. We had to ceremoniously but a bit sadly discard the old robe!

Been looking for quite a while. This is the only one that had a choice in color and size that was very well made. Should be warm this winter..

I bought this robe to replace my previous L.L. Bean robe, which has lasted 30 years and was getting a bit thin in the elbows (finally wore through the right one). If past experience holds, this one will outlast me. Got one for my wife as well.

It's difficult to find an all-cotton robe that doesn't feel as if you're encased in a tank. This robe is warm without being heavy. The all-cotton material (organic is a plus) feels great against my delicate skin. After a wash, the robe felt even better. Good colors too!

I love this robe. The organic cotton is quite soft and thick.

This is my 3-4 robe from LLBean..over the many years. Warm, comfy, all around good. Almost time to hang up for the Summer.

The robe is a nice weight and the color fine. Not as soft as I would like. Ran a bit large, but shrunk after washing so it fits much better.

Nice robe. I preferred the old style terry cloth to this new one, but admit the new terry is probably more durable. I wish it came in white not only the dark colors offered. I wish Bean would bring back adjustable belt loops. I believe this robe will serve me well for many years.

This robe is a good weight and well made. The sleeves are too long however. They are designed to have the cuffs rolled back, but they have to be roiled up so much that it is past the seam.

Comfy, velour navy robe. A little bulky but overall a great fit!

My son loves his robe. The monogram was done well. We bought the organic version but nowhere on the product does it state that. I dropped a star because we paid more for organic and the product lacks transparency.

My husband loves the comfort and warmth of the robe. But he wishes it wasn't as heavy as it is. I may shorten it to get rd f some of the weight.

A number of years ago I bought (from L L Bean) a white terry cloth robe. I LOVED it! As we got older my robe began shedding the "terry" and became just cloth, and it was tanish white that would not wash clean. The left sleeve developed two holes, one at the elbow (of course) the other at the arm pit. (really?) Yes, really. So back to L.L.Bean... and the color 'Camel' is no longer available. So brown is OK. It's warm and snuggley and I really, really like it. No love yet.

Bought 2 large robes: for me and my husband. Pro: super soft, warm, large pockets. Con: runs a bit large, the burndt mahogany color was more brown than I expected.

I (female) ordered this robe knowing it would be oversized but I wanted organic cotton and the sizing and warmth do no disappoint. The texture isn't as soft and silky as I'd like (it's smooth, but not soft, if that makes any sense), but the warmth makes up for it. The organic cotton was a must for me. Because it's not soft, I'm docking one star. Would highly recommend for a winter robe!

The cloth is very plush (thick) and will keep you nice and warm, almost too warm for summer if not for air conditioning. The cut makes for a nice fit. The sleeves are generous but if you like to put your arms into the opposite arms sleeve (like a muff) you'll find the sleeves are a bit to narrow for that.

This is a very comfortable, warm and absorbent bath robe. BUT, within two weeks the stitching on one of the pockets came undone. I received a replacement and have used it less than a week. Hopefully this new robe is better made. I really do like this robe, but it is not inexpensive and needs to last.

I finally updated my bathrobe. My previous robe is a velour Bean model that has worn like iron. It is showing its age a bit after about 10 years of constant use. This new terry robe is highly rated by Bean shoppers so I thought I would give it a try. It is nicely made but it is not as comfortable as my old robe. But my biggest criticism is how heavy it is comparing it to my previous Bean robe.

I had this robe previously for several years. Between my cats and regular wear and tear plus a considerable amount of weight lost I needed a new one. This thing is heavenly. The new cotton used is softer than my old one and very warm. Get your initials embroidered like a real OG. Trust me! Only 4 stars because I haven't had it long and can't judge how well it holds up over time.

My husband loves this robe, he likes that it's not too heavy and it's just what he wanted. The fit to size said he needed a large, but a large was too big so we returned for a medium. So I think it runs large.

This robe is a good replacement for my husband's years-old LL Bean chamois robe, which was beginning to fall apart. (Retired people spend a lot of time in their PJs and robes.) It's comfortable and fits well. But he misses the breast pocket, where he liked to keep his glasses.
