Love it! Pricey but worth the money. I love the fact that LL Bean clothing will last along time. Please don't change. I am getting every color eventually. A little too big, but I'm keeping. Outstanding quality and style.

Bought this for my Hubs for Christmas. He LOVES it! He works outside and this is a great layering piece. I just logged on and bought two more!

My husband received this shirt as a gift recently. We were doubtful upon first inspection. The shirt appeared big, boxy, and wide. (Try it on before judging.) It was a perfect fit. We followed the washing instructions from the LLBean salesperson--regular, cold water wash; line or flat dry (no clothes dryer)--there was no shrinkage. For the first wash, I inadvertently left the washed garment crumpled on top of the clothes dryer overnight, but was pleasantly surprised that it still looked good the next morning (almost dry with hardly any wrinkles). My husband LOVES, LOVES, LOVES this shirt especially the comfort, the color (don't know the exact Bean color, but close to Olive Drab Green), and the soft cotton lining with wool blend exterior. He wants to wear it all the time. We gave the same shirt to a nephew (color: charcoal). He, too, LOVES, LOVES, LOVES the shirt, and told his wife that she would not appropriate his new Bean shirt. I don't see how you can go wrong with this purchase. We plan to buy more.

I've owned quite a few undershirts, having lived in Maine, Rhode Island, Western New York (Buffalo winters are some to boast of surviving), and now Colorado. So I would say I've seen and felt some of the worst of what winter can bring, and can say, these with the combination of the Hurricane shirts, and the Original Field Coat, you can't get much warmer than that. The material of this shirt is perfect for breathability, and for comfort. I wear this to round up my dogs, to unload trucks into my walk in freezer at work, and to overall do my day to day errands. Warm or cold, this shirt can handle anything. Will be wearing these shirts for the foreseeable future.

Really liked the deep red color; had always liked the River Driver style but hadn't had one in years. Glad to have it again.

Bought to replace the same old shirt which is finally wearing out. Very comfortable, warm and good looking shirt which is a mainstay in my winter wear!!

I have 3 of these in different colors. They are great as heavy first layer or alone. They are incredibly warm, and fit great. They look great and very comfortable

Have washed it several times and it is great to wear right out of the dryer. Warm and comfortable but light enough to feel free to move in. Will likely purchase other colors.

I read reviews stating that the wool outer layer was itchy. What??? When fall rolls around I can't wait to put on my River Driver, which I wear every single day until spring - even to church. More comfortable than pajamas and warm! I have a closet full of them. First time I bought one it lasted about 20 years. I'll be happy if I'm buried in one.

Have worn these for years. Seems to stay same fit and quality. Perfect piece alone or layered.

These shirts fit nicely and are good quality.

I usually buy a large size for most products from LLBean but opted for the extra large. Washed it but have not placed it in the dryer.. don't like tight fitting clothes and this size was perfect. Slightly large but fits well. It is a warm shirt as the specs mention. The quality is also there. Bought the navy blue color. Would buy another one. Very pleased with the purchase.

My son loves the two, two layered River Driver's Henley shirts. He has never had a Henley style shirt and commented on what great quality the shirt was and very comfortable! I bought the tall size and it's fits great!

I purchased two of these 20 years ago for my husband and they have some worn areas at the wrist. I just bought two more for him for Christmas. He was so happy. NICE HEAVY MATERIAL FOR THIS KIND OF SHIRT.I DON'T THINK YOU COULD GO BY MY ORDER IF ORDERING FOR A MAN-----SORRY.DEFINITELY RECOMMEND FOR QUALITY OF PRODUCT.
