*The* shirt to be wearing if you are outside and in the cold. Yes, it is a bit scratchy, but no other shirt can match the warmth for the size. Love it for hiking.

I bought my husband this shirt for Christmas; then I ordered 2 more the day after he wore it! Several years ago I had bought him some button up shirts that were part wool, and very warm. They aren't available anymore so I thought I'd try this Henley. We live in MN so this is perfect for winter weather here! It's a good-looking casual shirt, as well as a good fit for him. I hope they are available next year. I bought a blue shirt first (to match his eyes) but was disappointed the red ones were sold out when I went to reorder, and hope to get a red one next year!

My son dropped by recently and he was wearing my old River Driver's shirt that I bought from LL Bean around 35 years ago when he was just a toddler. (he's 37 now) I had lost track of it over the years and did not realize that it was still around. It looked perfectly serviceable and he said he really liked the style & construction so I ordered a couple more for him. Made me think about that watch that could take a lickin & keep on tickin!

Well made, washes & dries well, comfortable. These shirts can't be beat.

Just bought 3 more for my son. He works outdoors and this is absolutely his favorite shirt. At 6'8 it's hard to find long enough shirts and the XL Tall fits great and the shirts hold up well to hard use!

Just like the river driver shirts I bought twenty years ago. It was finally time to replace them.

Very useful clothing item for busy dad. Put on and worn all day without even needing to perwash. Very comfortable, good fit. Plans to wear under open front heavyweight shirts outside in cold MT weather.

I really like the Riverdriver shirts. They are perfect for winter wear under a sport shirt. I now have 5 of them!

Bought this shirt for my boyfriend - he wears a medium/tall, which is sometimes hard to find but LLBean carries many men's shirts in this size. The shirt is very nice, we got gray, it is comfortable and washes great - didn't shrink. Would definitely buy this again in another color.

I buy at least one River Driver's shirt every year for my husband. He has quite a collection. At 6 ft. 5 inches tall, the XLT fits him great. I launder just as instructed--do NOT put this shirt in the dryer! The colors are great; the fabric is perfect; it is durable and warm. There is nothing better than this shirt. Please do not change a thing!

I do a lot of outdoor activities like camping and hiking. The River Driver is the go-to shirt year-round for comfort and warmth. The River Driver comes in handy for just sitting outside on a cool Fall or Spring day, used in the dead cold of Winter or a Summer night in the mountains. I keep a spare in the car for that "just in case" need. I have some that are 10 years old and they are still in great shape.

This has to be one of his favorite shirts. The material is a medium density and perfect for fall or layering in winter. Fits true to size and washes well. Great quality.

You can never have too many. Very versatile; wear it as a shirt, an undershirt, or sleep in it, as it functions well no matter how you use it.

I got this shirt for my dad and he loves it! It fits perfectly and he loves that it has 2 layers. Very warm and comfortable.

I bought 2 of the River Driver shirts for my husband for Christmas. They are nice and warm as well as comfortable. I don't mind that they have to be washed in cold water, but one draw back is that they have to be dried flat, not in the dryer. I hung it on a hanger to dry and all is well.

I have been purchasing the River Drivers for a few decades now! Extremely warm and the 2 layer system makes them perfect for strenuous work (Snow shoveling!) or exercise outdoors in cool and cold weather ! And they last forever! I bought my first one many moons ago and it is still in use! I think i have 5 now !
